NFC Award Seminar at Bacha Khan University Charsadda

On Monday, December 1, 2025, Bacha Khan University Charsadda hosted an Awareness Seminar on
KP's NFC Share and Merged Areas' Challenges" in the University Main Hall. The seminar was organized by the Directorate of ORIC as per the directives of the Vice Chancellor.

The event saw participation from students, principal, and faculty members of GDC-Zaim along with representatives from various affiliated colleges and teaching departments of Bacha Khan University Charsadda.

Key areas of focus during the seminar included:
1- KP's Rightful Share: Unpacking the NFC Award and the deprivation of merged areas.
2- KP's historical and current NFC share with emphasis on the persistent marginalization of merged districts.
3- Impact on development and administrative challenges after the merger.
4- Administrative Merger vs. Financial Merger: The ongoing struggle for rightful financial integration of merged areas.
5- Implications of the pending financial merger.
6- Challenges in funding, development, and service delivery arising from non-allocation of KP's due NFC share.

The seminar was attended by nominated students and faculty members, with attendance strictly monitored as per the instructions of the Vice Chancellor. The Directorate of ORIC requested colleges to nominate 10 students (5 male, 5 female) and 3 faculty members for the event, which was conducted with the approval of the Vice Chancellor.
