Mr. Sajid Ali, an MPhil Research Scholar at the Department of Economics, Islamia College Peshawar, has successfully defended his thesis, entitled
"IMPACT OF MACROECONOMIC UNCERTAINTY ON ENVIRONMENTAL OUTCOMES: A PANEL DATA EVIDENCE",
under the supervision of Dr. Said Zamin Shah, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics.
Dr. Mukamil Shah, Assistant Professor at IM|Sciences Peshawar, served as the external examiner.
A significant number of attendees, including the Chairman of the Department of Economics, faculty members, and students, participated in the defense. We extend our best wishes to Mr. Sajid for his future pursuits.

Prof. Dr. Ahmad-Ur-Rahman Saljoqi, Vice Chancellor, Islamia College Peshawar visited the Department of Economics and held an interactive meeting with the faculty members. Dr. Sher Ali, Chairman of the Department, briefed the Vice Chancellor on the academic progress, research initiatives, challenges and prospects for improvement. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the contributions of the faculty and assured full support for further strengthening the department’s teaching and research capacity.
