This is a high-paying scholarship opportunity in China, featuring advanced labs. Shenzhen University has two intakes every years: 1st February and 2nd September. The scholarship amounts are similar package 1st 7000, 2nd 6000RMB & 3rd 5000 RMB per month, Plus with additional scholarships available and you are eligible, such as:

• Guangdong Province Scholarship: 30,000 RMB

• Universiade Scholarship: 40,000 RMB

• Paper Award Scholarship:

Q1 (1st prize): 77,000 RMB

Q2 (2nd prize): 37,000 RMB

Q3 & Q4 (3rd prize) or any international journal: 17,000 RMB

If you are the first author or 1st co-author of a paper, you can easily secure these scholarships every year.

A multinational contract testing company based in Liverpool is looking to appoint a Laboratory Chemist to their site on a permanent basis. The role is open to candidates with a range of experience and the offered salary will reflect this.

The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of around 1 years experience from a role within the metals and minerals testing industry together with a HNC/HND/Degree in Chemistry or related subject. Method validation experience would be highly desirable.

Duties:

• This position is responsible for the determination of a wide range of analytical constituents in samples employing a variety of analytical instrumentation primarily ICP, XRF and wet chemistry including Titration / Auto titration.
• Prepare and analyse various samples based on method requirement.
• Quality Control; process samples through the laboratory within company guidelines and working to ISO 17025:2017 standards.
