A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Islamia College Peshawar and Women University Mardan was held at Women University Mardan. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Ur Rahman Saljoqi, Vice Chancellor Islamia College Peshawar and Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana, Vice Chancellor Women University Mardan, exchanged the signed MoUs.

An MoU exchange ceremony was held between Islamia College Peshawar and the University of Swabi at Islamia College Peshawar. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed to strengthen academic collaboration, joint research and training programs between the two institutions. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Ur Rahman Saljoqi, Vice Chancellor Islamia College Peshawar appreciated the efforts of Dr Qasim Mansoor Jalali, Liaison Manager & Dr. Ruidar Director ORIC University of Swabi and his team members for their proactive role in bringing both the institutions close to each other for academic & research purpose. The Vice Chancellor highlighted the significance of institutional linkages for promoting higher education & research and reaffirmed their resolve to work together for the benefit of students and society at large.

We are delighted to inform you that ORIC is going to hold "Research Poster Exhibition and Competition"
as per following details:

Date: 26.06.2025,
Time: 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Venue: Ground Floor, Ahmad Faraz Block

Students will be expected to answer queries regarding the Poster and explain their posters/projects.
All existing students of BS/MPhil/PhD are welcome to participate in the event.

We feel proud to announce that the project, "Establishment of Research Center" under title " Support to Islamia College(Research Center)" has been approved by Provincial Cabinet in its 34th meeting held on 20th June. The project is headed by our Director, Dr Arbab Safeer Ahmed, who is the Director of the Center for Material Sciences(CMS), to be established at a cost of around Rs. 400-million.

Prof. Dr. Ahmad-Ur-Rahman Saljoqi, Vice Chancellor, Islamia College Peshawar extends gratitudes to the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on behalf of the entire faculty members, staff and students of Islamia College Peshawar for approving of grant for Centre for Material Sciences.This initiative marks a significant step in advancing scientific research, education and industry in the province.

He deeply appreciates the support of the Honourable Chief Minister, the Minister for Higher Education, the Chief Secretary, the Secretary of the Higher Education Department and the Special Secretary to Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Centre will offer MPhil and PhD programs and conduct research in advanced materials, providing solutions aligned with industrial and national needs.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ahmad Ur Rahman Saljoqi praised the visionary leadership of the provincial government and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to academic excellence, transparency and impactful research.
