The Prophet ﷺ was asked about a man who left his camel without tying it, trusting in Allah. He ﷺ said: tie it and put your trust in Allah. (Sunan at-Tirmidhi, 2517) Tawakkul is the state after effort, not the substitute for it. What is the camel you have been leaving untied? Tie it today.

Badr wasn’t just a battle.
It was a lesson written in history that numbers don’t define victory… faith does.

Even the greatest odds mean nothing.

On the 17th of Ramadan, a small band of 313 unarmed and outnumbered men faced a force of a thousand well-equipped, battle-hardened warriors—and emerged victorious. The warriors of Badr, few in number and lacking weapons, shared swords or fought with nothing but their bare hands. Among them was Ukkashah, whose sword broke in the heat of battle. Seeing this, the Prophet ﷺ handed him a wooden club and told him to fight with it. As Ukkashah took up the club, it transformed into a sword—later named Al-Aws ("Divine Help"). This miraculous blade can still be seen to this day in a museum in Istanbul.
