We are proud to share the success story of our graduate, Mr. Ihtisham Muhammed S/O Muhammed Jan, from the BBA Session 2019–2023 and a resident of Patwar Bala, Peshawar.

After spending the last several months in Saudi Arabia, he has now achieved another milestone by receiving an Opportunity Card visa for Germany and officially beginning a new professional journey there.

He is currently working as Assistant HR at Wagners GMBH, Munich, Germany. His achievement reflects dedication, hard work, and the determination to pursue greater opportunities on an international level.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to him for a successful and bright future ahead. May he continue to achieve excellence and make his alma mater proud.

We are proud to announce the successful Ph.D. public defense of Mr. Luqman Khan, held today at the Department of Management Sciences, Islamia College Peshawar. Mr. Luqman Khan defended his innovative research titled: "Can the Financial Distress Premium Based Six-Factor Model Outperform Competing Asset Pricing Models? An Application of Fama-Macbeth and Deep-Learning Algorithms."

​The defense was conducted under the expert supervision of Dr. Mustafa Afeef (Associate Professor, ICP). We are honored to have had a distinguished panel of examiners to evaluate this significant contribution to the field of finance. Dr. Shahid jan kakakel served as an External Examiner for the public PhD defense of Mr. Hamid Hussain at the University of Swabi.
​The research—"Readiness of Business Schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Integrate Smart Human Resources Management"—offers vital insights into how regional institutions can modernize to meet the demands of a globalized economy.

Where History Lives: A Visit to Islamia College Library

Wilma van der Maten and Aaqib Amir of Asian Travel Pioneers, along with author and historian Farrukh Husain, visited the historic Islamia College Library. They were warmly received by Chairman Department of Management Sciences Dr Raza Ullah Khan and graciously guided through the collection by Mr Tahseen, the Librarian.

The visitors showed keen interest in the manuscripts and archival photographs on display. On this occasion, Farrukh Husain presented his book Afghanistan in the Age of Empires to the hosts.

Established in 1913, the Islamia College Library houses a rich and rare collection of manuscripts, including the renowned Ghulam Jilani Collection, which was donated to the library in 1915.
