Government Institute for the Visually Impaired Children Peshawar

A heartfelt thank you to the students of Educators School System, Ring Road Brach Peshawar, who selflessly served as amanuenses (writers) for visually impaired students appearing in the Annual Board Examination 2026 under BISE Peshawar.

Their dedication and regular support made it possible for visually impaired students to attempt their papers smoothly and confidently.

We are especially grateful to the Principal of the said School, Mrs Tallat Humayun, who extended her full cooperation in the provision of writers for our Visually impaired students.

We are also thankful to the parents, and all the students who played their vital role in this noble cause with commitment and kindness.

As a token of appreciation, certificates and gifts were presented to all the student writers in recognition of their valuable service.

This inspiring act of cooperation is a message for all educational institutions and the general public:
Visually impaired students need our support to achieve their educational goals.

Finding writers during board examinations is one of the biggest challenges for these students, and the cooperation of sighted schools can make a huge difference.

We urge all school owners, principals, and parents to encourage such participation and help create an inclusive environment where visually impaired students are given equal opportunities to succeed.

Together, we can remove barriers and empower every student through compassion, inclusion, and support.

سرکاری ادارہ برائے نابینا بچوں، گورنمنٹ انسٹی ٹیوٹ فار دی ویژولی امپیئرڈ چلڈرن پشاور (لڑکے)، کا 65واں سالانہ نتیجہ دن 7 اپریل 2026 کو کامیابی سے منایا گیا۔ اس موقع پر بہترین کارکردگی دکھانے والے طلبہ کو ٹرافیاں، نقد انعامات اور امدادی آلات دیے گئے۔
یہ تقریب گورنمنٹ انسٹی ٹیوٹ فار دی ویژولی امپیئرڈ چلڈرن پشاور نے پاکستان ایسوسی ایشن آف دی بلائنڈ (PAB)، TARS فاؤنڈیشن پشاور، اور دوستی ویلفئر آرگنائزیشن (DWO) کی معاونت سے منعقد کی۔
چيف گیسٹ کے طور پر مسٹر شعیب خان، ڈسٹرکٹ آفیسر، سوشل ویلفئیر ڈپارٹمنٹ پشاور، تشریف لائے۔ دیگر معزز مہمانوں میں قاری سعد نور (صدر، PAB خیبر پختونخوا)، مسٹر رضوان خان (وائس پریزیڈنٹ، TARS فاؤنڈیشن پشاور)، اور مسٹر فیصل منیر (پروگرام مینیجر، DWO پشاور) شامل تھے۔
تقریب کا آغاز ادارے کے ایک نابینا طالب علم کی تلاوت سے ہوا۔ بعد میں مسٹر اویس عالم، جو PAB میں ایجوکیشن سیکریٹری کے طور پر بھی خدمات انجام دیتے ہیں، نے مجموعی نتائج پیش کیے اور پوزیشن ہولڈرز کا اعلان کیا۔
مسٹر رضوان احمد، اسپیشل ایجوکیشن ٹیچر، نے اسٹیج سیکریٹری کے طور پر اپنی پہلی تقریب کی کامیاب نگرانی کی اور مسٹر اویس عالم کی معاونت کی۔
کلاس 6 کے ایک نابینا طالب علم، افاق علی (اپر چترال)، نے انگریزی میں اپنی پہلی تقریر دی، جس کی حاضرین نے بہت تعریف کی۔ اس کی حوصلہ افزائی کے لیے اسے نقد انعام اور تحفہ دیا گیا۔
تقریب میں معزز مہمانوں نے خطاب کیا۔ مسٹر محمد عارف، پرنسپل گورنمنٹ انسٹی ٹیوٹ فار دی ویژولی امپیئرڈ چلڈرن پشاور، نے مہمانوں کا خوش آمدید کہا، طلبہ کو مبارکباد دی، اور محنت جاری رکھنے کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔
قاری سعد نور نے طلبہ کی کارکردگی کی تعریف کی اور ادارے کے انتظامیہ اور اساتذہ کی لگن کو سراہا۔
چيف گیسٹ مسٹر شعیب خان نے ادارے کی نابینا طلبہ کی تعلیمی ترقی میں اہم کردار کو سراہا اور مختلف اضلاع میں اپنے تجربے کی روشنی میں کہا کہ گورنمنٹ انسٹی ٹیوٹ فار دی ویژولی امپیئرڈ چلڈرن پشاور دیگر اداروں کے مقابلے میں ہر لحاظ سے بہتر ہے۔ انہوں نے پرنسپل اور اساتذہ، خاص طور پر مسٹر اویس عالم کی ٹیم ورک کی تعریف کی۔
مسٹر فیصل منیر نے دوستی ویلفئر آرگنائزیشن کے صوبے میں غیر اسکول شدہ بچوں کی تعلیم کے فروغ میں کردار کو اجاگر کیا اور ڈاکٹر منیر کی معاونت کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے مستقبل میں بھی تعاون جاری رکھنے کی یقین دہانی کرائی۔
تقریب کے آخر میں طلبہ، اساتذہ، مہمانوں اور رضاکاروں میں شیلڈز اور سرٹیفیکیٹس تقسیم کیے گئے۔ پروگرام چائے اور دوپہر کے کھانے کے ساتھ اختتام پذیر ہوا۔
The 65th Annual Result Day of Government Institute for Visually Impaired Children (Boys), Peshawar was successfully held on 7th April 2026.
On this occasion, position holders were awarded trophies, cash prizes, and assistive devices in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.

The event was organized by GIVIC, Boys Peshawar with the support of Pakistan Association of the Blind (PAB), TARS Foundation Peshawar, and Dosti Welfare Organization (DWO).

Mr. Shoaib Khan, District Officer, Social Welfare Department Peshawar, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Other distinguished guests included Qari Saad Noor (President, PAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), Mr. Rizwan Khan (Vice President, TARS Foundation Peshawar), and Mr. Faisal Munir (Programme Manager, Dosti Welfare Organization Peshawar).

The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by a visually impaired student of the institute. Subsequently, Mr. Awais Alam, SSET, who also serves voluntarily as Education Secretary of PAB, presented the overall result statement and announced the position holders.

Mr. Rizwan Ahmad, Special Education Teacher, made his debut as Stage Secretary and conducted the proceedings efficiently, while also assisting Mr. Awais Alam.

A visually impaired student of Class 6, belonging to Upper Chitral, delivered an impressive debut speech in English, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
In recognition of his confidence and performance, he was awarded a cash prize along with a gift.

Speeches were delivered by the distinguished guests. Mr. Muhammad Arif, Principal of GIVIC Peshawar, warmly welcomed the participants, highlighted the significance of the occasion, congratulated the promoted students, and emphasized the importance of continued hard work for future success.

Qari Saad Noor highly appreciated the students’ performance and commended the dedication of the institute’s administration and teaching staff for making it a model institution in the province.

In his address, the Chief Guest, Mr. Shoaib Khan, praised the institute’s role in the academic grooming of visually impaired students. Drawing on his experience of serving in various districts including Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, and Peshawar, he remarked that, in comparison to similar institutions, GIVIC Peshawar stands out as superior in all aspects. He particularly appreciated the leadership of the head of the institution and acknowledged the collective efforts of the teaching staff, especially Mr. Awais Alam, for their exemplary teamwork.

Mr. Faisal Munir highlighted the role of Dosti Welfare Organization in promoting education for out-of-school children across the province. He also acknowledged the contributions of Dr. Munir, a Pakistani-American, for his continuous support and commitment to this cause.
He assured continued collaboration and support for GIVIC in future educational initiatives.

At the conclusion of the event, shields and certificates were distributed among students, teachers, guests, and volunteers. The programme ended with refreshments, including high tea and lunch, served to all attendees.
