IEEE UET Peshawar held its Oath Taking Ceremony'22 for the newly inducted members. Oath was taken by all society members to serve and protect IEEE's interests by our reputable Faculty Advisor Dr. Majid Ashraf.

Our Chief Guest Dean of Electrical Department Dr. Amjad Khattak and our very estemed Chairman of Department of Electrical Engineering Dr. Waqar Shah was also present along with senior faculty members Dr. Gulzar Ahmad, Dr.Rooh-ul-Amin and Ma'am Shaista.
To make new members familiar with IEEE they were involved in ice-breaking session, riddles afterwards and were encouraged to speak up and introduce themselves to the core members.

IEEE organised a seminar on 'Cisco's IT Essentials' with Cisco Network Academy. Engr. Ihsan ul Haq from DCSE UET Peshawar conducted the seminar as he is Cisco's focal person for UET Peshawar.

He directed the students on how to implement what they are taught practically into their lives. He also directed the students about Cisco's program in UET Peshawar which is only one of seven in the whole country of its kind.

Some glimpse of inductions of IEEE 2019. The inductions went well as we came across some good talent and will eventually provide us with good skills. The results are to be announced soon.

IEEE UET Peshawar celebrated IEEE Day with Electrical department staff and her members. There was a cake cutting ceremony to commemorate IEEE Day followed by other refreshments. Last year's EXCOM was also invited to mark a memorable event.

Time 1 and half hour for logo designing.
Half hour for assessment.
No Laptop and Software will be provided. Participants will bring his/her laptop and software.
Internet and pre downloaded Icons aren't allowed during competition.

Assesment/Judgment:
Top 3 from all the participants based on overall look.
Further judgment will be based on
1. Overall Look of Logo
2. Theme Idea
3. Presentation

Participation Certificates for every participant if possible. If not then only top 3.

After many meetings and discussions, we have decided to collaborate with UET Media Club in the upcoming Technophilia'19.
They will be conducting some of the events, details of which will be shared later. Keep your hopes high and have a skyrocketing enthusiasm.
