24th of february 2025, Political Science Debating Society conducted interviews of candidates for induction to various seats and General body of the society. The Panel consisted of Sir Waseem Murad , Abdullah Bin Khalid, Abeera Nizar, Noorah Durrani, Bilal Zameer and Amama Arif.
Candidates will soon be informed regarding their final selection. Stay tuned.

"I,Abeera nizar have been an active member of the Political Science Debating Society for the past two years, participating in debates and contributing to the society’s growth. Through hard work and dedication, I have now been selected as the Vice President. I look forward to supporting and encouraging my fellow debaters and helping society thrive."

My name is Muhammad Yasir. I am glad to be elected as General Secretary of the Debating society. This society has provided me an opportunity to give vent to my ideas and thoughts and diversify my knowledge and experience. It's a platform where diverging opinions amalgamate and encourage dissent and debate. I look forward to contributing to the best of my knowledge and experience. To Become Deputy General Secretory of Debating Society is a moment of pride and gratitude for me. It's not just a title but a reflection of passion and dedication. This achievement reminds me of the incredible journey I've had,filled with challenges and growth. I look forward to contributing to Debating society,fostering meaningful discussions and empowering others to find their voices, just as I have found mine.

Democracy in action! Our Political Science Debating Society has just concluded its annual elections for the 2025-26 session! Congratulations to the newly elected team on their well-deserved win. We're excited to see the impactful discussions, debates, and initiatives they'll bring to the table. Here's to another year of fostering critical thinking, public speaking, and civic engagement!

As the session culminates, Political Science Debating Society announces its annual elections for the academic session 2025-26.

📢Announcement
Political Science Debating Society is bringing to the table, the following constitutional amendments.
📌President to be from the senior most batch.
📌Vice President to be from 4th or 6th Semester.
📌General Secretory and Deputy General Secretory to be from 2nd or 4rth Semester. Only members of Cabinet or General Body can apply for these positions.
📌50%-50% seats for male and female in the core positions.
📌Central Cabinet to be the Electoral College for elections of core Positions.
📌Rest of the cabinet members would be selected with mutual consent of the President, Vice President, G.S and D.G.S, with President having the final say.
📌 Elections to be held every February.

We're thrilled to announce that the Political Science Debating Society has made it a habit of excellence! For the 3rd consecutive time, our team traveled to Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI), Swabi to participate in the National British Parliamentary Debate Competition!
This achievement is a testament to our society's dedication, perseverance, and passion for debating. Our team's consistent performance is a result of their hard work and commitment to improving their skills.
We're proud of our debaters for showcasing their talent, creativity, and critical thinking on a national platform. Their ability to engage with complex topics, think on their feet, and articulate their arguments with confidence is truly impressive!
As we celebrate this achievement, we're grateful for the opportunities that GIKI provides for debaters from across the country to come together, learn from each other, and grow as individuals.
