The 14th August function was celebrated with great national spirit at Government Girls Degree College Dabgari Peshawar.
The program began with a moment of silence to honor the sacrifices of the heroes of Pakistan.

After that, the respected Principal Prof Dr.Humera Shah hoisted the national flag with pride and dignity. The **flag ceremony** was followed by the national anthem, which filled the environment with patriotism.

A joyful **cake-cutting** ceremony was organized in celebration of Independence Day.Our great Principal Prof Dr.Humera Shah cut the cake, accompanied by teachers and students, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.

The function concluded with a heartfelt prayer for the peace, prosperity, and unity of Pakistan. Everyone raised their hands in dua, asking for the continued progress and safety of the country.

On 13 August 2026, beautiful indoor and outdoor illumination, along with flags and banners, was arranged at GGDC Dabgari Peshawar to celebrate Pakistan's Independence Day. The college was decorated in a vibrant and festive manner, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and enthusiasm.
The credit for these remarkable arrangements goes to our respected Principal, Prof. Dr. Humera Shah, whose dedication and efforts greatly enhanced the beauty and spirit of the Independence Day celebrations.

The college lawn is being cleaned, and the grass and plants are being trimmed to create a neat, beautiful, and welcoming environment for students.These efforts reflect the college commitment to providing a healthy and pleasant learning atmosphere.

The Respected Principal of Government Girls Degree College Dabgari Peshawar, Prof. Dr. Humera Shah, took a commendable initiative to improve the overall appearance and environment of the college. Under her supervision, whitewashing of the college building was carried out.
The whitewashing has enhanced the cleanliness, beauty, and overall appearance of the college premises. This initiative has also provided a fresh, neat, and pleasant environment for students and staff members.
The College Cleanliness In-charge, Ms. Fozia, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, supervised the cleanliness activities in the college. Regular cleaning, washing, and dusting of classrooms, offices, corridors, and other areas were carried out.
