The Alumni Association - DCSE - UET Peshawar successfully held its second online meeting of the year on February 21, 2026, during the blessings of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The session, which included active participation from Muhammad Tariq Khan, Arbab Waseem Abbas, Faysal ImtYz, Waseem Khan, Safdar Marwat , Raja Ahmed, and Ilham Hamid focused on a high-impact roadmap for the community. Our Patron-in-Chief, Dr. Muhammad Tariq Khan, commended President Dr. Arbab Waseem Abbas for his steadfast leadership, noting that the board is poised to achieve even greater milestones this year than ever before.

Moving forward, the Association is prioritizing a robust strategic framework to better connect our global network. Key initiatives include the creation of specialized regional and professional chapters, the launch of a public activities calendar to help international alumni coordinate visits, and a comprehensive constitutional review. Additionally, the board is ensuring full legal and financial compliance to pave the way for international philanthropic contributions and large-scale development.

Dr. Arbab Waseem Abbas, President of the Alumni Association - DCSE, congratulates the newly elected office bearers of the UET Peshawar Alumni Association on the eve of their oath-taking ceremony.

In his message on 4 Feb. 2026, he extended full support to President Engr. Gul Bahadar Yousafzai, Vice President Prof. Dr. Abdul Shakoor, General Secretary Engineer Mohammad Usman Khan Marwat, Secretary Finance Engr Nasir Ali and Secretary Marketing and PR Engr. Yasir Hamad, and offered every possible assistance toward the betterment of the fraternity.

All leadership positions have been filled by a distinguished group of alumni dedicated to our community's growth. This team is committed to fostering professional excellence, strengthening our network, and building a lasting legacy for years to come.

The 1st Meeting of the newly elected Alumni Association Board Members took place on January 1, 2026. Participants included Arbab Waseem Abbas, Haroon Khan Momand, Gul E Rana Iftikhar, Ilham Hamid, Yasir Afridi, Amaad Khalil, and Safdar Marwat.

The Members reviewed nominations for the remaining Board positions and committed to getting the draft Constitution and Bylaws approved. It was agreed that the DCSE Alumni Reunion will be held annually on the first Sunday of every year, starting in 2027. Plans were initiated for a DCSE "Wall of Fame" and the appointment of selected final-year students as Association Ambassadors.
