Mr. Danish, has dedicated significant effort towards earning his PhD degree under the supervision of Dr. Faisal Shiraz who has provided invaluable guidance and mentorship, instrumental to the successful completion of the thesis while Professor Dr. Amna Ali ( Associate Dean-FMSS) served as the internal examiner.

Prof. Dr. Amna Ali, Associate Dean of the School of Business Administration and Social Sciences at Iqra National University Peshawar, served as the external examiner for the thesis defence of Mr. Muhammad Junaid, a research scholar pursuing his Master of Science degree at the Center for Disaster Preparedness and Management. Mr. Junaid's research study, titled “Spatial Analysis of Physical Flood Susceptibility of Buildings in Union Council Madyan, Swat,” was carried out under the guidance of Engr. Dr. Syed Azmat Ali Shah, a lecturer at CDPM. The viva voce examination was convened by Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Director of CDPM.

Public PhD Defense – Danish Khan

Iqra National University successfully conducted the public PhD defense of Mr. Danish Khan on 31st March 2026, who presented his doctoral research titled “The Impact of Learning and Development Opportunities on Job Performance and Transfer of Learning: A Moderated Mediation Approach.”The study was completed under the supervision of Dr. Faisal Sheraz and reflected strong analytical insight, methodological rigor, and a high level of academic dedication.

The defense session was chaired by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Malik Taimur Ali, who ensured that the proceedings were conducted with academic integrity, transparency, and fairness.

The evaluation panel included external examiners Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jahangir (Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan) and Dr. Sana Aroos Khattak (Bahria University, Islamabad), along with the internal examiner Prof. Dr. Amna Ali. The panel conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the research, during which the scholar successfully demonstrated clarity of thought and confidently addressed all queries.

The session was attended by senior academic leadership, including the Registrar Office, Dean, Associate Dean, Principal, Controller of Examinations, Director QEC & ORIC, Director of Postgraduate Studies, representatives from the Research Office, faculty members, and fellow researchers. The University extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Danish Khan on this remarkable academic achievement.

21st Board of Faculty Meeting – FMSS, Iqra National University

The Faculty of Management & Social Sciences (FMSS) conducted its 21st Board of Faculty Meeting on March 16, 2026, in a hybrid format. The session was chaired by the Dean Prof. Dr. Adil Adnan, along with Associate Dean Prof. Dr. Amna Ali, with internal members (Principals & Heads of Programs) present at the university, while distinguished external experts and other members participated online.
