The Directorate General of Science and Technology is pleased to invite proposals by research consortia to solve clearly identified problems in the three priority area laid out by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Science Agenda;
1) Advanced Materials
2) Biomedicine
3) Space Sciences

Consortia are encouraged to have public, private, national & international members from academia, non-profits, startups and/or the industry and led by a corresponding PI based in an HEC-accredited University in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Undergraduate Research Support Programme – DoST The Undergraduate Research Support (UGRS) Programme is meant to support final-year research students with support for a research kit in order to enable them to do cutting- edge research in their STEM discipline. 

A review meeting on the establishment of KP Science Museum Mardan, was held under the presidentship of Minister for Science and Technology Atif Khan.

The KP Science Museum Mardan is a unique international standard museum which is the brainchild of the Directorate of Science and Technology (DoST).

The museum will generate curiosity and bring awareness among the general public and students.

The programme will award maintenance grants to refurbish, re-operationalize & maintain key equipment which can be of broader use to the scientific community.

The grant will cover a technician’s salary, software upgrades, maintenance, repair costs & utilities.
