iv) Animal Welfare Board of
India v. A. Nagaraja and others (2014) 7 Supreme Court Cases 547]
Regarding the right to life with grace , honour, peace and government responsibilities to provide such thing to living beings (both humans and animal : The Supreme Court of India held as follows.-
“When we look at the rights of animals from
the national and international perspective,
what emerges is that every species has an
inherent right to live and shall be protected
by law, subject to the exception provided out
of necessity. Animal has also honour and
dignity which it cannot be arbitrarily deprived
of and its rights and privacy have to be
respected and protected from unlawful
attacks”
In Nonhuman Rights Project v. the State of New York (2014) , where U.S. courts began recognizing the legal personhood of animals in certain contexts. This ruling aligns with a growing global trend of recognizing the intrinsic rights of animals and ensuring their protection from cruelty and neglect.
On national level his lordship relied on some of the case laws ; Ghulam Asghar Gadehi and others v. Senior Superintendent of Police Dadu and 4 others [PLD 2018 Sindh 169] ….. sindh high court , Province of Sindh and others v. Lal Khan Chandio and others[PLD 2016 SC 48]…… here in this judgement the apex Court had elaborately discussed the reasons and wisdom for conserving and protecting the migratory bird and had explained the nexus with the environment and right to life of humans.
Along with this , The learned Lahore High Court, in the case titled Muhammad Arif v. S.H. O. City Police, Depalpur and 5 others‟[PLD 1994 Lahore 521],while granting a petition of habeas corpus in relation to two persons found to be illegally detained along with their cattle, had raised the question of extending the constitutionally guaranteed right to animals. It was observed as follows.-
“As, per Article 4 of the Constitution every
citizen has the inalienable right to be treated
in accordance with law and no action
detrimental to, life, liberty, body, reputation
or property can be taken except in
accordance with law. Under Article 24 of the
Constitution no person is to be deprived of his
property, except in accordance with law.
Equality before law and equal protection of
law is guaranteed to every citizen, under
Article 25. If the Constitution is guaranteeing
such wide protection to the citizens, why not
the same protection to the cattle and animals
of the country?”
Resulting the safe relocation of the elephant along with establishing of a precedent for the right of animals; a sign of progressive society.

Euthyphro
A remarkable dialogue between Socrates and euthyphro written by Plato around 399 BC in Athens.
The whole dialogue is occurs near to the archon basileous (kings magistrate ). Where Socrates is present in premises of court to defend himself against the accusations made by meletos and where Euthyphro tells Socrates that he is going to court to prosecute his father for binding a worker in chains and leaving him to die.
Both of them after discussing their charges with each other , Socrates in discussion through a question towards euthyphro ," think you have accurate knowledge of piety and impiety ...." and reveal his wish to be the student of euthyphro to learn about pious and impious things.
Socrates poses a profound inquiry into the nature of piety and impiety, questioning Euthyphro on their definitions. Euthyphro initially says that what is dear to the gods is pious, and what is not dear to them is impious. However, Socrates challenges this by building an analogy: if we disagree on tangible matters such as size or quantity, we have objective measures to resolve our disputes. Yet, when it comes to moral and ethical matters—what is just or unjust, good or bad, noble or ignoble etc ,our disagreements can lead to profound conflict.
Socrates extends this notion to the divine realm, arguing that even the gods may have conflicting opinions on what is pious or impious. If different gods love and hate different things, then the same act could simultaneously be considered both pious and impious. This leads to a paradox, suggesting that the definition of piety as merely what is beloved by the gods is insufficient and problematic. Thus, Socrates pushes for a deeper, more consistent understanding of piety beyond the subjective preferences of the gods. Keep in your brains that the early Greeks were polytheists and worshipped many gods. Therefore, Socrates may be correct regarding the disputes among gods over an pious and impious of an event. However, in Abrahamic religions, God is one, so how can God's decisions be in conflict with anyone else? It's not possible because no other God exists. Yet, it is a fact that the God of Abrahamic religions has attributes that can seem contradictory. For instance, He is merciful, but at the same time, He is also a punisher.
By continued logical arguements of Socrates euthyphro was unable to stand on his first definition of pious and impious things and he was changing his definition throughout and this aporic ending has led to one of the longest and debatable question raised by Socrates," Is the pious loved by gods because it's pious or it is pious because it is loved by the gods "
Euthyphro's dilemma is a challenge to all religions having believe in any god. It holds that a statements such as ‘truth is good’ obtain their truth values from attributes of God. That is, the statement ‘truth is good’ is true if and only if God loves truth.
Euthyphro's dilemma challenges this position by questioning whether this means that what is morally correct is merely an arbitrary choice by God, or whether or not these things have objective, eternal truth. Here the most valuable question has been raised that the attributes of god is within the God , if yes, then why we see contradictions in it and if not within god then these attributes are parallel to the god and he will acquire these attributes , if he acquires he will not be considered as a god anymore.
euthyphro leaves Socrates alone after realizing he can't answer to Socrates question....... Socrates was sentenced to punishment for corrupting the ethenian youth.

I was quite amazed when I read the Principle ," De mortuis nil nisi bonum".
It was used in ancient Greece about 600 BC. It means, "Of the dead nothing but good is to be said".
Interestingly, this is also the teaching of our religion, but here we should appreciate and accept the legacy of Ancient Greeks in every field including Law , Philosophy, Science, Engineering, Arts, Physics and many more.
The morale principles set by Greek philosopher was of such a high standard that future religions also adopted some of these.
This is one of reason that for me "Morality is always superior then Any religion" . Morality provide ground for religions. Morality doesn't need support of any religion but a religion can't exist without Morality.

Poulo Coelho, his every word makes their place in the heart of the reader. He gained fame after his breath_ taking novel, Alchemist.
Brida, a novel written by Poulo Coelho.
Story rounds about girl of 21 years whoes in search of magic ( for me this magic is Knowledge) and her two teachers Wicca and Magus and her boyfriend Lorens .
What I get from this, is that if you are fond of something nature will always give you opportunity and it's upto you then to avail it.
Nature will help you maybe in form of teacher, wise men or miracle, they will just help you to achieve what you want but finding your path/goal is absolutely to you.
Secondly, When you find your path, you must not be afraid. You need to have sufficient courage to make mistakes. Disappointment, defeat, and despair are the tools God uses to show us the way.
Paulo Coelho thanks sir 🖤
