SMIU Vice Chancellor Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai’s message
on birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah

Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai, Vice Chancellor of Sindh Madressatul Islam University, in his message has congratulated the Nation on birth anniversary of an illustrious alumnus of SMI and founder of Pakistan-Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, which is being celebrated today, December 25th.
Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai has said that Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah had received his early education from Sindh Madressatul Islam (SMI) from July 4, 1887 to January 30, 1892. He said, the Quaid had great love and reverence for his Alma-Mater- SMI, that is why he had bequeathed one third of his property to SMI through his Last Will written in 1939. He had also visited SMI on June 21, 1943 and had inaugurated college section at SMI.
Dr. Sahrai said, to lay foundation of an institution is a great achievement but to lay foundation of a country is the greatest achievement and our Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah created a new Country-Pakistan for us. Hence the Nation in general and specially students of SMIU, must act upon the thoughts, ideology, struggle, moral values, honesty and sincerity of Quaid-e-Azam Mohamad Ali Jinnah and work for development and prosperity of the country and the Nation.
