𝟏𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐔𝐨𝐓 𝐍𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚

Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology, Nowshera successfully held its 17th Finance & Planning Committee Meeting and 25th Syndicate Meeting on 7th June 2026, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Saeed Badshah, Vice Chancellor, UoT Nowshera.

During the meetings, the financial performance and expenditure of the fiscal year 2025–26 were reviewed in detail, while the proposed budget estimates, expected income, and financial planning for the upcoming fiscal year 2026–27 were also discussed. The members appreciated the improving financial position of the University and acknowledged the steps being taken for institutional sustainability and progress.

Important matters related to further recruitment, NOC for new appointments, pending selection boards, and the addition of highly qualified faculty members were also deliberated. The draft University Statutes were thoroughly discussed and approved, marking another significant step toward strengthening governance, transparency, and institutional development at UoT Nowshera.

The meetings were attended by distinguished members from relevant government departments, statutory bodies, and competent forums, along with other esteemed members of the University’s statutory bodies.

UoT Nowshera continues to move forward with a strong commitment to academic excellence, financial discipline, good governance, and sustainable institutional growth.

The University of Technology (UoT), Nowshera organized a Welcome and Farewell Party 2026 on 4th June 2026 at the university campus.

The event was graced by Dr. Naveed Jan, Advisor to QEC/ORIC, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he appreciated the students’ initiative and highlighted the importance of extracurricular activities along with academic excellence. He encouraged students to actively participate in healthy, positive, and recreational events that contribute to confidence building and personality development.

The celebration was attended by faculty members, administrative staff, and a large number of students. The program featured colorful and entertaining performances, including funny news presentations, poetry recitations, comedy skits, songs, Attan performances, and a cultural walk, beautifully showcasing the creativity, confidence, and diverse talents of UoT students.

The event concluded with an energetic musical performance by a renowned singer and his team, adding more excitement and joy to the evening.

Overall, the Welcome and Farewell Party 2026 was a memorable and successful event, providing students with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate university life, strengthen friendships, and create unforgettable memories.

The University administration extends sincere thanks and appreciation to the organizers, student volunteers, faculty members, administrative staff, and all participants for their valuable efforts in making the Welcome and Farewell Party 2026 a successful and memorable event.

𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐞 (𝐈𝐐𝐂) 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐔𝐨𝐓 𝐍𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚

The 4th Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) Meeting of the University of Technology Nowshera was successfully held on 01 June 2026 under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Saeed Badshah, Vice Chancellor, UoT Nowshera.

During the meeting, the forum reviewed the implementation status of decisions taken in previous IQC meetings and discussed various quality enhancement initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional performance. Key agenda items included the follow-up on strategic planning, policy development, infrastructure improvements, research support, quality assurance activities, student representation mechanisms, and progress on institutional reporting and accreditation-related matters.

The forum also reviewed updates regarding the Quality Policy, QEC logo, Technology Journal, International Conference, and the implementation status of the QEC Activity Calendar. Furthermore, the reconstitution of the IPER Preparation/Updation Committee was discussed to ensure the continuity of quality enhancement processes.

The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of all stakeholders and emphasized continued commitment towards fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the University.

Prof. Dr. Saeed Badshah, Vice Chancellor, Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera, recently visited China to attend the China-Foreign Nuclear Science and Technology Talent Exchange Event and the Inauguration Ceremony of the International Atomic Energy Field Talent Exchange and Development Alliance, held from May 20–23, 2026 in Harbin, China.

The event was organized by Harbin Engineering University under the guidance of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, China Atomic Energy Authority, and the Department of Science and Technology of Heilongjiang Province.

A significant highlight of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera and Harbin Engineering University, China. The MoU marks an important step toward strengthening academic cooperation, research collaboration, faculty and student exchange, and future joint initiatives in areas of mutual academic and technological interest.

The international event brought together academic leaders, experts, and institutions from different countries to promote talent exchange, scientific cooperation, and collaborative development in the field of atomic energy and advanced technologies.

Participation in such international platforms reflects UoT Nowshera’s commitment to global academic engagement, technology-driven development, and strengthening international linkages.

Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera faculty members, Dr. Muhammad Bilal and Engr. Zeeshan Lodhi, successfully completed the GIZ-organized Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment Programme, held from 14–22 June 2026 at Hill View Hotel, Islamabad.

The programme focused on the Training of Master Trainers through the International Labour Organization’s Know About Business (ILO-KAB) entrepreneurship methodology, aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship education, self-employment skills, and business development training capacity.

The training was led by distinguished experts, including Dr. Nidal Fahmi Ayesh, International Certified Trainer, and Dr. Muhammad Naeem Akhter, National Trainer, through a structured Training of Trainers approach in collaboration with an internationally accredited certifying body. Successful participants received international certification as ILO-KAB Master Trainers, enabling them to deliver standardized entrepreneurship training in future programme phases.

The programme also featured Sara Learning’s online LMS platform, where each module was explained in a well-structured, accessible, and effective manner. The sessions proved highly beneficial and significantly enhanced the participants’ professional knowledge, entrepreneurial understanding, and training delivery skills.

Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera appreciates such capacity-building initiatives that promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and self-employment among youth and strengthen the role of TVET institutions in economic development.
