Congratulations to all participants of the Brain of Mirpur test, especially the position holders!

I am thrilled to announce that the results are out today, following the test held on February 9, 2025. This year, we saw an impressive turnout of almost 450 students from 39 schools, comprising both private and government institutions.

Punjab College has been conducting this test for the past 6-7 years, and it's heartening to witness the enthusiasm and competitive spirit among students.

As a token of appreciation for their hard work, we're offering:

- Scholarships and cash awards to the top 3 students
- 60% scholarships to the remaining 19 position holders at the time of admission

Condolence Message and Condemnation of Human Rights Abuses in Kashmir*

Date: January 4, 2025

Punjab College Mirpur, AJK, stands in solidarity with the Kashmiri people, particularly the innocent children, who have been brutally affected by pellet gun injuries and other human rights abuses.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of over 7,000 precious lives and the suffering of more than 1,500 individuals injured in the conflict.

Principal Malik Ashfaq Ahmad strongly condemns the excessive use of force, violence, and human rights abuses perpetrated by Indian forces in Kashmir. We urge the international community to take immediate notice of the deteriorating human rights situation in Kashmir and work towards a peaceful resolution.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and the people of Kashmir. We hope for a swift and peaceful resolution to the conflict.
