Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos (“a solid wall of lead”) was a retaliatory military action launched by the Pakistan Armed Forces on May 10, 2025, in response to intense Indian military actions.
Following a four-day escalation, Pakistan conducted precision missile strikes against Indian air bases and military installations, including in Udhampur, Pathankot, and Sirsa. The operation, taking its name from a Quranic metaphor for a united front, was characterized by Pakistan as a defining moment of strength and national cohesion.
