A group of 10th class students is actively engaged in performing practical experiments in their school laboratory.

A group of chemistry students recently had the opportunity to visit a local soap manufacturing industry as part of their academic learning experience. The visit was organized to provide practical exposure to concepts studied in the classroom.
The students were accompanied by their respected teachers, Mr. Raza Ul Mustafa and Md. Syed Saleem Hussain Shah, who guided them throughout the trip. Upon arrival at the industry, the group was warmly welcomed by the staff and given an introduction to the soap manufacturing process.
During the visit, students observed the complete procedure of soap production, starting from the selection of raw materials such as fats, oils, and alkalis. The industry experts explained the chemical process of saponification, where triglycerides react with a strong base (usually sodium hydroxide) to produce soap and glycerol. The students were able to connect this real-life process with the theoretical knowledge they had learned in class.
