📖 The Story of Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) from the Qur’an
Across the Qur’an, Allah presents a clear and consistent account of Jesus (peace be upon him)—his miraculous birth, his mission, his miracles, and his true status.
---
🌙 1. The Blessed Birth
In Surah Maryam (19:16–21), Mary withdraws from her people. Allah sends an angel to give her glad tidings of a pure son:
«“I am only a messenger of your Lord to grant you a pure boy.”»
Without any human father, she conceives by the command of Allah:
👉 Surah Aal-e-Imran (3:47)
“When He decrees a matter, He only says ‘Be,’ and it is.”
---
🌴 2. The Miraculous Birth & First Miracle
During childbirth, Allah supports Mary (19:22–26). When people question her, the newborn Jesus speaks:
👉 (19:30)
«“Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Book and made me a prophet.”»
This is the first declaration of his identity:
✔ Servant of Allah
✔ Prophet of Allah
---
🌟 3. His Mission to the Children of Israel
Jesus was sent as a messenger:
👉 Surah As-Saff (61:6)
«“O Children of Israel, I am the messenger of Allah to you…”»
He confirmed the Torah and gave glad tidings of a messenger to come after him.
---
🌟 4. His Miracles (By Allah’s Permission)
Jesus performed great miracles—but always by Allah’s will:
👉 Surah Aal-e-Imran (3:49)
- Fashioned a bird from clay → it became alive
- Healed the blind and the lepers
- Brought the dead back to life
👉 Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:110)
«“…by My permission…”»
👉 (5:112–115)
The disciples asked for a table spread from heaven.
---
🌙 5. His True Message: Worship One God
Jesus clearly taught the worship of One God:
👉 (5:72)
«“Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.”»
---
🌙 6. Was He God or Son of God? (Qur’an’s Clear Answer)
The Qur’an strongly addresses this belief:
👉 (5:72)
«“They have disbelieved who say: Allah is the Messiah…”»
👉 (5:75)
«“The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a messenger.”»
👉 (19:35)
«“It is not for Allah to take a son.”»
👉 Surah Al-Ikhlas (112:3)
«“He neither begets nor is born.”»
👉 Surah An-Nisa (4:171)
«“Do not say ‘Three’… Allah is only One God.”»
---
🌙 7. The Plot Against Him
Some people rejected him and plotted against him:
👉 Surah Aal-e-Imran (3:54)
«“They planned, and Allah planned—and Allah is the best of planners.”»
---
🌙 8. Was He Crucified?
The Qur’an gives a different perspective:
👉 Surah An-Nisa (4:157–158)
«“They did not kill him, nor crucify him—but it was made to appear so…”
“Rather, Allah raised him to Himself.”»
---
🌙 9. On the Day of Judgment
Jesus will deny ever claiming divinity:
👉 (5:116)
«“Did you tell people to take you and your mother as gods?”
He will say:
“I only told them what You commanded me…”»
---
🌙 10. A Sign for Humanity
👉 Surah Maryam (19:21)
«“We will make him a sign for mankind and a mercy from Us.”»
---
✅ Final Message
From the Qur’an:
✔ Born miraculously
✔ Performed miracles by God’s permission
✔ Sent as a Prophet
✔ Called people to worship One God
❌ Not God
❌ Not son of God
❌ Not part of a Trinity
👉 He said:
“Indeed, I am the servant of Allah.” (19:30)

🤍 A reminder: The message of all prophets is one — worship the One Creator.
