Today, an Urdu Phonics training session was conducted by Sir Salamat, and it proved to be a highly informative and productive learning experience for all participants. The session focused on the fundamentals of Urdu phonics, including basic sounds, short vowels, long vowels, and different types of vowel sounds. Special emphasis was also placed on semi-vowels, silent letters, nasal sounds, and correct pronunciation patterns used in early language learning.
Furthermore, the training included practical examples and activities related to CVC (Consonant-Vowel-Consonant) words, which help students develop strong reading and blending skills at an early stage. The session was very helpful in understanding how phonics can be effectively used in classroom teaching to improve students’ reading and pronunciation abilities.
Overall, the training session was highly beneficial for teachers, as it provided clear guidance and useful strategies to make phonics teaching more effective, interactive, and student-friendly.
