The Department of Computer Science organized an insightful session on “RF Sensing for Healthcare Applications” on September 11, 2025 at the Jheeka Gali Campus.
The distinguished guest speaker, Dr. Syed Aziz Shah, Associate Professor and Post Graduate Research Lead at Coventry University, UK, shared his expertise and valuable insights with faculty and students.
The session was held at Lab-01, S-Block, and attended with great enthusiasm by participants eager to learn about the latest advancements in healthcare technologies.
Dr. Waqas Bangyal, Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Syed Aziz Shah for delivering such an engaging and informative session. He appreciated the valuable insights shared on the use of RF sensing in healthcare.
He also thanked Dr. Aziz Shah for enlightening the students with his expertise and knowledge.

Kohsar University Murree Hosts Farewell for Pioneer BS Computer Science Batch(2021-2025)!

First graduating class praised for their foundational role and lasting contributions.

Kohsar University Murree (K*M) marked a historic moment as the Department of Computer Science- K*M organized a heartfelt farewell ceremony for its pioneer batch (2021–2025) of BS Computer Science students. The event celebrated not only their academic journey but also their role in shaping the identity and culture of the newly established department.

The farewell, was attended by senior faculty members, administrative staff, and students.

In his address, Dr. Waqas Bangyal, Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science, paid rich tribute to the outgoing students. “This pioneer batch has laid the foundation of excellence, innovation, and academic discipline. They were not just learners—they were leaders in building what this department is today,” he said.

Students shared emotional memories of their four-year journey at the university, recalling classroom experiences, project milestones, and the support they received from faculty during the challenging early phases of the department’s development. Many of them played active roles in launching student societies, initiating tech talks, and establishing the department’s first coding clubs and research activities.

Faculty members also expressed their pride in the graduating class, calling them “Ambassadors of K*M” and encouraging them to uphold the values of academic integrity, professionalism, and lifelong learning as they move into the professional world or higher education.

The ceremony concluded with group photographs.
As the students bid goodbye to their alma mater, emotions ran high—but so did hopes, dreams, and determination to leave a mark in the ever-evolving tech landscape.

The farewell for the pioneer batch symbolized not just an end, but a new beginning—for the students stepping into the world, and for the department that now has a legacy to build upon.

موجودہ ملکی کشیدگی کے اس مشکل دور میں، ہمیں اپنی قومی سلامتی اور ڈیجیٹل خودمختاری کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کی اشد ضرورت ہے۔ ہمارے ملک کی ترقی اور بقاء کے لیے یہ ترجیحات نہایت اہم ستون ہیں۔ موجودہ دور میں پیچیدہ سائبر حملوں اور غیر مصدقہ معلومات کے پھیلاؤ کے باعث ہمیں اپنی ذمہ داریوں کا بخوبی ادراک ہونا ضروری ہے۔ ہماری ٹیم نہ صرف سلسلے وار صورتحال کی گہری نگرانی کر رہی ہے بلکہ جدید ترین حفاظتی اقدامات کے ذریعے ہمارے ڈیجیٹل نظاموں کے تحفظ کے لیے کوشاں ہے۔

اس تناظر میں، آپ سے درخواست ہے کہ ذیل میں بیان کردہ حفاظتی تدابیر کی مکمل سنجیدگی سے پابندی کریں اور کسی بھی غیر مصدقہ معلومات یا افواہوں کی ترویج سے گریز کریں-

⚠ مشکوک روابط سے احتراز:

کسی بھی غیر متوقع یا غیر مصدقہ ای میل، SMS، یا سوشل میڈیا پر دستیاب لنکس پر کلک کرنے سے گریز کریں۔

اگر کسی لنک پر شک ہو تو اسے کھولنے سے قبل بغور جانچ پڑتال کریں اور متعلقہ حکام یا IT ٹیم سے رہنمائی حاصل کریں۔

✅ صرف معتبر ذرائع سے معلومات حاصل کریں:

تازہ ترین اپ ڈیٹس اور حفاظتی ہدایات کے لیے صرف حکومتی یا متعلقہ ہنگامی اداروں کے سرکاری چینلز کا استعمال کریں۔

واٹس ایپ گروپس یا غیر رسمی سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارمز پر پھیلنے والی افواہوں اور بے بنیاد معلومات سے پرہیز کریں۔

🔐 ایپلیکیشنز اور ڈیجیٹل سروسز کی رسائی محدود کریں:

صرف ان ایپس اور سروسز کو استعمال میں لائیں جو واقعی ضروری ہوں، اور غیر ضروری ایپس کی رسائی فوراً بند کر دیں۔

حساس معلومات رکھنے والی ایپس کی پرمشنز کو باقاعدگی سے چیک کریں اور غیر ضروری پرمشنز کالعدم کر دیں۔

📢 قومی CERT سے رابطے میں رہیں:

قومی سائبر ایمرجنسی رسپانس ٹیم (National CERT) اور دیگر معتبر سائبر سیکیورٹی اداروں کی جانب سے جاری کردہ تازہ ترین انتباہات اور رہنما ہدایات پر گہری نظر رکھیں-

یاد رہے کہ ہر شہری کا محتاط رویہ اور بروقت اقدامات ہمارے دفاع کو نہ صرف مضبوط بناتے ہیں بلکہ ہمیں مستقبل کے چیلنجز کا مقابلہ کرنے کے قابل بھی بناتے ہیں۔ آئیں، متحد ہو کر اپنی ذمہ داری کو بخوبی سمجھیں اور ہوشیاری، احتیاط، اور حب الوطنی کے جذبے سے بھرپور انداز میں اپنے ڈیجیٹل نظاموں کی جامع حفاظت کو یقینی بنائیں۔ملک کا تحفظ ہم سب کی مشترکہ ذمہ داری ہے-
