Dear Students
As you prepare to appear in your CAIE examinations, it is essential to take extra care of your health and well-being, especially in light of the ongoing heatwave.
You are strongly advised to follow these precautionary measures:
1. Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water before and after your examination.
2. Avoid direct exposure to the sun; use caps, umbrellas, or scarves when commuting.
3. Wear light, breathable clothing in accordance with the exam dress code.
4. Ensure you have a proper meal before leaving for the examination to maintain your energy levels.
5. Carry a transparent water bottle without label as per examination guidelines.
6. Report immediately to the invigilator or staff in case of dizziness, fatigue, or any discomfort.
7. Minimise time spent outdoors while travelling to the campus.
8. If you arrive on campus early, please avoid staying outdoors and instead remain seated in the designated waiting rooms allocated for candidates.
Your health, well-being and safety are of utmost importance. Taking these simple precautions will help you stay focused and perform at your best during your examinations.
Wishing you all the very best for your CAIEs. Stay safe and take care.

Dear Students
Tomorrow’s Chemistry Paper 2 is your opportunity to show how well you can apply your concepts with clarity and precision.
This paper is not about memorizing — it is about understanding and using your knowledge effectively.
Keep in mind:
⚛️ Read every question carefully — focus on key command words.
🧮 Show all calculations step by step (moles, concentration, etc.).
⚖️ Always check for balanced equations where required.
🧠 Use correct concepts — avoid guessing.
✍️ Write clear, concise, and scientifically accurate answers.
🔵 About Pressure — both in chemistry and exams:
In chemistry, increasing pressure can shift equilibrium — but in exams, do not let pressure shift your focus.
Stay calm, think clearly, and let your preparation guide your answers.
A steady mind, like a controlled system, gives the best results.
In topics like energetics, bonding, rates, and equilibrium — let your conceptual clarity guide you.
Work calmly and manage your time wisely.
Even the most complex reaction becomes simple when broken into steps — apply the same approach here.
You have already built strong foundations — now convert that into confident performance.
✨ Precision in chemistry leads to success — and so will your effort.
Wishing you focus, confidence, and excellent results in Paper 2.
