Beaconhouse Officers' Colony Campus, Multan celebrating Global Dignity Day
Global Dignity Day was celebrated at Beaconhouse, Officers’ Colony Campus, Multan on 15th October 2014 with an intention to give the youth nurtured at Beaconhouse, the true concept and awareness about dignity. A special morning was organized in which students made speeches and shared thoughts with the students on how to acquire, maintain and uphold dignity. Students acted out a magnificent role play on bulling to tell students that bulling hurts others’ dignity. Junior staff members were also called on stage and paid special thanks by the students for their services and support they render in running the school affairs smoothly. A few Parents also attended the special assembly and shared their life experiences related to dignity with students. The students also wrote their messages and pledges and placed them on the school gate for others to read.

One's dignity may be assaulted, vandalized and cruelly mocked, but it can never be taken away unless it is surrendered.”
Michael J. Fox
To establish and recognise the right of every human being to lead a dignified life, the third Wednesday of October every year is celebrated as Global Dignity Day across the world.
The purpose of celebrating this day is to educate and inspire children and youth in particular, about the concept and importance of human dignity. Every human being regardless of race, culture or social background has the right to protect his or her dignity.
