The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences successfully organized a Project Activity on Cyber Psychology and Neuropsychology. Students delivered informative presentations and showcased innovative models highlighting key concepts and practical applications of these emerging fields.

Students explored how human behavior is influenced by digital platforms, social media usage, online communication patterns, cyberbullying awareness, and the psychological impact of technology on daily life. They also presented real-life examples and preventive strategies for healthy digital behavior.

Students demonstrated understanding of brain-behavior relationships, cognitive functions, memory processes, attention, and neurological disorders through models and presentations, linking theory with practical observation.

The event was graced by the presence of HOD Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Dr. Uzma Niaz, Assistant Professor & Deputy Registrar Dr. Ghulam Ishaq, Assistant Professor & Financial Aid Officer Dr. Qurat-ul-Ain, along with respected faculty members.

The activity provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their research, presentation, and analytical skills while promoting academic learning and creativity.

Emerson University Faculty Member Dr. Shahid Rafiq Completes Postdoc at King’s College London

Emerson University Multan has congratulated Dr. Shahid Rafiq, Assistant Professor of Education, Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, on completing a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship at King’s College London, UK, sponsored by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.During the fellowship, Dr.Shahid Rafiq contributed to international research collaborations and published multiple research papers jointly with Emerson University Multan and King’s College London. The university said his work has enhanced its global research visibility and academic reputation.
“This milestone was achieved by Dr. Shahid Rafiq reflects Emerson University Multan’s strategic focus on promoting high-impact research and international partnerships.
