Govt. College of Commerce was established in 1959, as an intermediate college. at that time this college was known as "Chupper College". Mr. The Total area of Govt.
Shabbir Ahmad Siddiqi was its first principal. In 1979 this istitute attained the status of Commerce College. The College started M.Com slasses in 1994 under the eiges of Mr. Safdar Hussain Safdar(late). Since its inception, the college has contributed a lot to the well-being of the students of the region.
