Butt further proposed the concept of including England in a Euro-Asia Cup, suggesting the participation of Ireland and Netherlands as well. This would create a ten-team tournament with six teams from Asia and four countries from Europe. He described it as a dress rehearsal for the World Cup, emphasizing the need to explore practical possibilities rather than merely generating ideas.
