Sleep, work, eat, leisure – at a high level most of us spend time on similar activities. But just how similar are the daily activities of people across the world? This is something worth considering, not just to serve our curiosity but because differences in the way we spend time give us meaningful perspectives on living conditions, economic opportunities and general well-being.

Cultural differences are likely to play a role here.We see that the most enjoyed activities involve rest or leisure activities such as eating out, sleeping, going to sports events, playing computer games or attending cultural performances. The activities receiving the lowest ratings include doing school homework, looking for a job, or doing housework.

The fact that there is a very clear and predictable pattern in the enjoyment of activities suggests that differences in time use do, indeed, give us meaningful perspectives on living conditions and economic opportunities. In countries where people do more paid and unpaid work, and have less time for leisure, their enjoyment – and happiness and life satisfaction – levels are likely to be lower.

Part of happiness depends on personality. Some people have a naturally happy nature. We all know people who are cheerful and optimistic most of the time. Their upbeat personalities make it easier for them to be happy.So what does that mean for people who are born with a personality that's on the grumpy side? They might see the faults in people and situations instead of the good. Their mood might be glum more often than it's cheerful.

A big part of how happy we are depends on our mindset, the habits we practice, and the way we live each day. By learning the key ingredients of happiness, we can use them to become happier. Have you ever wondered what life is all about?You must have thought but you didn't pay attention.If we consider, we find that people are living in different ways in different countries of different parts of the world. Everyone is living in their own ways.A child adapts to the environment in which it is born and starts moving with that flow.Some people work so hard that they benefit the entire humanity.Some people live like animals, eat, drink and sleep. ‘Life is nothing but continuous struggle on the right path’.If all comforts are given or taken away from you, you will commit suicide.Because you will not get to work and it is human nature to work.

There are three things that make a man happy: working hard, worshiping God and meeting with relatives and friends.'Excess of anything is harmful'.If you work hard day and night, you will become very successful, but for the sake of this success, you will not be able to give time to your relatives,friends and worship.You will not enjoy those beautiful moments of life that you should have enjoy.In the same way, if you spent most of the time with friends and relatives then you will not be able to enjoy success.

That is why we should try our best to balance these three things.So that we can live a beautiful life.

I used to think I needed to have a good relationship with everyone.

I wanted to be kind, to be forgiving. I wanted to be good. But after years of trying so hard, I realized I didn’t need to repair a bridge that the other person kept on burning. I didn’t need to be reconnected with everyone I had a falling out with. I didn’t need to force reconciliation.

I used to think in order to attain peace, I needed to be in good terms with every people passing by my life. But eventually, I learned that cutting people off brought silence to my mind. I was actually doing myself and the other person a favor by not looking back to save ashes of burnt friendship or connection.

Sometimes, things just need to end. Some bonds don’t actually need rescuing. Sometimes that’s how you do good, by not retrieving what needs to be lost.

There is no right or wrong answer, despite what you may read. Everyone’s bodies and minds respond in different ways; the most important thing is that you are getting the right balance.

It’s crucial that you find the balance that you enjoy. It is far too easy to think that you are doing everything wrong, and it is even easier to scroll through Instagram or Facebook and compare yourself to others that seem to live the perfect healthy lifestyle. The key point here is not to be hard on yourselves, everyone has their own journey to take. Being healthy doesn’t happen overnight, but each little change we make is a step in the right direction. If we get lost and take the wrong path, it isn’t a disaster, we just need to carry on – it is part of the journey. Keep it simple, and be kind to yourself.
