On June 11, 2025, the Department of Food Safety and Quality Management at Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Multan, celebrated World Food Safety Day under the global theme “Food Safety: Science in Action” [1] . The event was organized under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Riaz, Dean of the Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition.
