Today, dated 13 May 2026, , Engr. Muhammad Asad Khan Regional Director/Principal, chaired an important meeting with all Heads of Departments (HODs) and Incharges in the Telepresance Lab.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the smooth functioning of the college, routine administrative matters, discipline, cleanliness and the provision of better facilities for students. All concerned were directed to ensure that institutional affairs are managed efficiently, systematically, and in a timely manner.
Following the meeting, Engr. Muhammad Asad Khan, along with Engr. Mudassir Rasheed, visited the labs of the Construction Courses being conducted under the CM Punjab Hunarmand Program. During the visit, they reviewed the ongoing training activities, inspected lab facilities, and appreciated the practical skills being imparted to the students under the program.

Under the visionary directions of the worthy Chairperson TEVTA, students of Construction Sector courses including Mason, Steel Fixer, Shuttering, and Scaffolding visited the construction site (Mubarak Group of companies, Wajid &Co.) at DHA Multan on 11.05.2026 to gain practical field exposure and hands-on learning experience.
During the visit, students observed real-time construction activities, modern techniques, workplace safety standards, and professional working environments. This industrial exposure enhanced their technical understanding, boosted confidence, and connected classroom knowledge with actual field practices.
Such productive initiatives play a vital role in developing skilled manpower and will significantly improve the overall learning outcomes and success of the training projects.

π Labour Day 2026 Observed at GCT Multan π΅π°
Labour Day 2026 was observed at Government College of Technology, Multan with great enthusiasm. The event commenced with the National Anthem, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat Sharif.
Engr. Mudaser Rasheed, Vice Principal, shared his valuable views on the significance of Labour Day, highlighting the dignity of labour and the rights of workers.
Students actively participated in the event and showed great enthusiasm throughout the ceremony.

An impactful awareness session was successfully conducted on 28th April at Government College of Technology, Multan (Chemical Department Auditorium).
The session began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Naat Sharif and the National Anthem π΅π°. A large number of students and staff actively participated in the session.
π€ Engr. Mudassar Rasheed delivered an informative presentation focusing on workplace safety, health practices, and preventive measures. The audience showed great interest and engagement throughout.

π Earth Day 2026: Driving a Greener Future at GCT Multan! πΏ
Today, To commemorate Earth Day 2026, we hosted an impactful seminar focused on environmental sustainability and the urgent need for climate action.
The event kicked off with passionate speeches from our students, who analyzed the local impact of industrialization and the specific climate challenges facing Pakistan. Their dedication to finding environmental solutions was truly inspiring!
Our faculty shared technical insights on how we can bridge the gap between technology and nature:
Engr. Muhammad Islam (HOD, Civil Technology) delivered a stirring keynote, urging students to become pioneers of "Green Technology." Mr. Muhammad Irfan and Mr. Muhammad Ismail (Chemical Technology) provided expert lectures on sustainable industrial practices.
The seminar concluded on a high note with a Tree Plantation Drive. Our Regional Director and Principal of GCT Multan, Engr. Muhammad Asad Khan, planted a sapling and led a special prayer (Dua) for the prosperity and environmental health of Pakistan.
