**Visit Report**
**Regional Director, TEVTA South Punjab**
**Government College of Technology, Lal Mir Kot Addu**

The Regional Director, Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), South Punjab, conducted an official visit to the Government College of Technology (GCT), Lal Mir Kot Addu. Upon arrival, the Regional Director was received and welcomed by the college administration in accordance with the prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
As part of the visit, the Regional Director planted a sapling within the college premises, symbolizing the Authority’s commitment to environmental sustainability and institutional responsibility.
A comprehensive meeting was subsequently held in the conference room, attended by the Principal, Vice Principals, Heads of Departments, and faculty members. During the meeting, the Regional Director issued clear instructions to all staff members, emphasizing the need for improved performance, discipline, and outcome-based training in line with the vision and directives of the Chairman TEVTA, Retired Brigadier Sajid Khokhar. The staff was also briefed regarding the Chairman’s policy of surprise visits and the importance of continuous preparedness, transparency, and compliance with TEVTA standards.
Following the meeting, the Regional Director held a detailed discussion with the Heads of Departments and Vice Principals and thereafter conducted an inspection of academic and practical activities. Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Technology classes were visited. During the practical sessions, the Regional Director interacted directly with students by asking relevant technical questions to assess their understanding and skill level. Queries were also raised with the concerned instructors regarding practical delivery, and the students’ practical records, including previous practical work, were thoroughly examined.
The Computer Operator Short Course class was also inspected. Certain deficiencies were identified during the inspection, and appropriate directions were issued to the concerned staff for immediate rectification and improvement.
The Regional Director reviewed the overall environment of the institution and expressed satisfaction with the cleanliness, security arrangements, improvement in admissions, and maintenance of merit-based intake.
A detailed discussion was also held with the Institute Placement Officer (IPO). The IPO was instructed to strengthen and enhance internship opportunities for students, in accordance with the vision of the Chairman TEVTA, by establishing stronger linkages with relevant industries and ensuring regular industrial visits to improve students’ employability.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Regional Director met with the cricket team of GCT Kot Addu, which had secured the championship title for South Punjab. The team was appreciated for its achievement, and a trophy along with certificates was presented to the players. A group photograph was also taken to commemorate the occasion.
The visit concluded with satisfaction over the overall progress of the institution, along with clear directions for continuous improvement in academic quality, practical training, industry linkage, and institutional performance.

Engr. Muhammad Asad Khan, Regional Director (South), visited the Cloud Computing class at Government College of Technology, Bahawalpur. He spent time with the students, talked through the course content, and appreciated their interest in new technologies. He also checked the attendance register and examined the lab setup and equipment. The visit wrapped up with useful guidance and encouraging words for both the students and the faculty.

GCTW Bahawalpur

Engr. Muhammad Asad RD South visited GCTW Bahawalpur and inspected the Graphic Design Class running under the Chief Minister Punjab Skills Development Initiative 2025.
During the inspection, the Regional Director reviewed:
• The overall learning environment of the training class
• The quality of training being delivered
• Student attendance and discipline
• Practical assignments and creative work prepared by the trainees
• Availability of required training facilities and equipment
The Regional Director appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and creativity, encouraging them to make full use of the training opportunity. He also emphasized the importance of market-driven skills and advised students to build strong portfolios for future careers.

Senior Director General TEVTA, Mr. Akhtar Abbas Bharwana sb along with Regional Director, Mr. Qazi Muhammad Asad sb and Director Technical Lahore paid an official visit to Government College of Technology (Boys) Layyah on today 22-11-2025.
They were warmly welcomed by the Principal, Mr.Kashif Abbas Buzdar
During the visit, Senior Director General with his focal persons toured Civil & Mechanical departments of the institute,
They Completly visited the Civil Labs and give complete instructions to start the new construction courses of CM program.Senior Director General also give instructions to complete the renovation of all labs within two months Mr. Akhtar Abbas Bharwana sb also planted a tree within the campus.A complete presentation is given by the Principal both for College DAE programs and CM construction Courses .Both officials expressed their
appreciation for the dedicated efforts of Principal Mr Kashif Abbas Buzdar in the continuous uplifting and development of the college and hostel. At the last Senior Director General distribute certificates and checks to the position holders in PBTE

Senior Director General TEVTA, Mr. Abbas Akhtar Bharwana, along with Regional Director, Mr. Muhammad Asad Qazi, paid an official visit to Government College of Technology (Women), Layyah on today 22-11-2025.
They were warmly welcomed by the Principal, Mrs. Zakia Anwar Klasara.
During the visit, the distinguished guests toured various departments of the institute, including the Display Room, Beautician Lab, Hostel, Chemistry lab and the College Canteen. They reviewed the facilities, interacted with staff, and observed the ongoing academic and technical training activities.
As a gesture promoting a greener and cleaner environment, Mr. Abbas Akhtar Bharwana also planted a tree within the campus.
Both officials expressed their appreciation for the dedicated efforts of Principal Mrs. Zakia Anwar Klasara in the continuous uplifting and development of the college and hostel. They commended the improvements made in infrastructure, training environment, and student support facilities.

Government College of Technology (GCT) Multan had the privilege of hosting Mr. Akhtar Abbas Bharwana, Senior Director General TEVTA, in connection with the ADP-approved "CM Skilled Punjab Program for Construction Sector", as per the directions of the worthy Chairperson TEVTA. He was accompanied by the Regional Directors and Mr. Ezaz Haider, Director (Technical), TEVTA. Principals and focal persons of the relevant GCTs where this project is to be executed were also in attendance.
A comprehensive session was held on lessons learned from previous projects, along with detailed directions regarding lab renovation, HR planning, project contours, machinery/equipment, and other operational matters to ensure effective and standardized implementation across all institutions. The Senior Director General also reviewed infrastructure, visited labs and practical yards established for this project, appreciated the efforts of staff, and urged them to maintain high training standards.
Later, a prize distribution ceremony for PBTE position-holding students, staff appreciation, tree plantation, and inspection of admin and principal office blocks were also conducted.

He distributed certificates and checks among the position holders and appreciated their hard work and dedication. The event concluded with words of encouragement for students to continue striving for excellence.

Engr. Muhammad Asad, RD South, visited the CM Skills Development Initiative 2025 Graphic Design class at GCT (W) Bahawalpur. He reviewed students’ creative assignments and gathered feedback on course content, training methodology, and learning outcomes. Appreciating the class’s discipline, dedication, and 100% attendance, he motivated students to excel and build a self-reliant future through their skills. He highlighted TEVTA’s active placement cell, facilitating both national and overseas employment, and encouraged students to work hard to benefit from these opportunities. GCTW Bwp

The RD South visited GCTW Bahawalpur and conducted a detailed inspection of classes and labs of DAE Architecture, DAE CIT, DDM to monitor the provision and utilization of training materials.
He held an interactive session with students to assess the quality of practical work and the maintenance of academic records. The RD South expressed his appreciation for the college’s effective record keeping and the organized conduct of academic activities.
He further encouraged the faculty and students to focus on developing Innovative and Technically Advanced Projects that reflect creativity and practical skills.
As a gesture of appreciation, the RD South awarded cash prize the position holder of DAE Architecture 2nd Year for achieving 1st Position in the 1st Annual Examinations 2025 PBTE Lahore
