International Biomedical Laboratory Science Day, also known as Medical Laboratory Professionals' Day, is celebrated on April 15th every year to recognize and honor the contributions of medical laboratory professionals in the healthcare industry.
Medical laboratory professionals play a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases. They perform a variety of laboratory tests on patient samples, analyze the results, and provide accurate and timely information to healthcare providers. Medical laboratory professionals include medical laboratory technicians, medical laboratory scientists, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals who work in clinical and research laboratories.
