We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Nisar Ali, Computer Science Class of 2018, on successfully completing his PhD at the University of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, under the supervision of Dr. Abdul Bais. His research in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Precision Agriculture, and Remote Sensing, conducted in collaboration with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, has produced 8 peer-reviewed publications and advanced AI-driven UAV phenotyping for wheat breeding.
He has received multiple prestigious graduate scholarships and research awards, including the Saskatchewan Innovation Opportunity Scholarship International and University of Regina Graduate Scholarships.

From the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Annual Summit in Geneva to serving as a Youth Delegate at the United Nations, contributing to the UN Global Dialogue on AI Governance, and representing Pakistan at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Uzair continues to make us proud. Through his work in innovation and youth leadership, he continues to exemplify Namal's values of service, leadership, and global impact.

Sheeba Ashraf (BBA ’24), currently serving as Merchandising Senior Officer at Challenge Fashion Pvt. Ltd., has built an inspiring professional journey marked by dedication and continuous growth. A silver medalist and Dean’s Roll of Honor recipient, she exemplifies the values of hard work and lifelong learning that continue to shape her career.

Her story is a reminder that every challenge can become a stepping stone toward greater possibilities.

Every Namalite carries forward a story of learning, growth, and new possibilities. Aleeza Fatima (BBA ’23) is one such story. From gaining practical industry exposure at Namal to contributing at one of Pakistan's leading organizations, her journey reflects the value of embracing opportunities and applying knowledge with purpose.
