Memories

Colonel Naeem, hailed from Abbottabad and came from a very humble family. Having grown up without a mother, he often said that the Pakistan Army became a mother to him—guiding, nurturing, and shaping him into the man he became.

He belonged to the 3rd Special Course of the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) and was commissioned into 4 FF,an infantry unit known for its courage and tradition of valor. During his academy days, he was an excellent boxer, admired for his strength, discipline, and fearless spirit. He was an EXCELLENT golfer throughout his life.

He was a tall and brave man, remembered for his jovial nature, his generous heart, and his unwavering sense of duty. Those who knew him describe him as someone always ready to help—generous with his advice, money, and good humor.

Col. Naeem earned three master’s degrees during his military career. After retirement, he began a remarkable second chapter in education, serving as Principal of Army Public School, Jhelum for about 15 years, and later as Principal of Army Public School and College, Mardan, for nearly 10 years.
He passed away at the age of 74 with lung cancer recently.
