Another important milestone has been achieved with the provision of a new Mitsubishi bus to the Special Education Complex Mardan.
Grateful to the Secretary and Director, Social welfare for addressing the major transportation challenges faced by special students in Mardan.
This will ensure reliable pick-and-drop services, significantly easing the difficulties faced by students who were waiting for transport.
This initiative brings much-needed relief not only to the students but also to their families, marking a positive step toward better support and accessibility in the region.

A colorful farewell party was organized in honor of Mr. Khan Rahman SB on the occasion of his superannuation from the Special Education Complex, Mardan. The event was a heartfelt recognition of his dedicated and commendable service.
It was indeed a privilege for all staff members to be part of this memorable gathering, celebrating an honest, sincere, and highly respected colleague. Mr. Khan Rahman actively participated in the event, making the occasion even more special.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of all staff members including the Deputy Director Special Education Complex and VTCDP Mardan, adding dignity and significance to the event.

An excursion study tour was organized for the ICC, VIC, and PCC sections of the Special Education Complex Mardan to Bagheecha Park, Charsadda.
The special students thoroughly enjoyed the trip. They actively participated in various physical activities, which helped enhance their abilities and strengthened their self-esteem and confidence.
Thanks to their teachers and other staff members for their support and participation.

Mr. Muhammad Younas,District Officer Social Welfare Mardan visited the hostel of Special Education Complex Mardan and joined the special students residing there for Iftar. He interacted warmly with the students, listened to them, and shared a pleasant dinner with them in a friendly and caring environment.
The District Officer also performed Maghrib prayer with the students and prayed for the progress, prosperity, and bright future of the special students as well as for the well-being and prosperity of the entire nation. The visit created a sense of encouragement, care, and motivation among the students living in the hostel.

Visit of District Officer Social Welfare Mardan to Special Education Complex Mardan.
Mr. Muhammad Younas, District Officer Social Welfare Mardan, visited Special Education Complex Mardan today. During his visit, he inspected all four sections of the complex, including VTCDP and GIVIC Mardan.
He met with the special students and teachers, observed the teaching and learning process in the classrooms, and appreciated their performance and dedication.
All Heads, Incharges, and staff members were present on the occasion.
The District Officer assured the administration that issues related to the district administration would be addressed and resolved on priority.

Surprise Visit of Director Social Welfare KP to Special Education Complex, Mardan
The Director Social Welfare, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr.Khalid Zaman, paid a surprise visit to the Special Education Complex Mardan today.
During the visit, he inquired in detail about staff strength, the teacher–student ratio, attendance of staff and students, ongoing academic activities, and the rehabilitation services being provided. He visited all academic sections of the complex, inspected classrooms and vocational training rooms, and reviewed the overall learning environment.
The Director also visited the hostel and interacted with the special students residing there. He took keen interest in their well-being, inquired about meal arrangements, sports, and co-curricular activities, and held an open discussion on issues faced by the special students. He appreciated their confidence and performance.
Furthermore, he commended the dedication and hard work of the teachers and staff of the Special Education Complex, Mardan, and assured them of his full support. He promised to address and resolve departmental issues at the earliest in order to further improve services for persons with special needs.

“Empowering Dreams: A Colorful Celebration for Special Students”

Cheques for winter uniforms and certificates of the VTCDP section were distributed today among 430 special students at the Special Education Complex Mardan on behalf of the Directorate of Social Welfare and Special Education.
Mr. Javed Marwat SB, Commissioner Mardan, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Mr. Shuaib SB, District Officer Social Welfare Mardan, welcomed the guests and briefed the audience about the purpose of the event. The Commissioner visited different classes and sections of the complex, appreciated the hard work and dedication of the teachers and staff, and assured full support in resolving issues related to special students and staff at the Special Education Complex Mardan.
Parents and students actively participated in the event. The special students showcased their abilities through various performances, which were truly impressive and highly appreciated by the audience.
At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Nazir Shah, Deputy Director, Special Education Complex Mardan, presented a vote of thanks to the Chief Guest and all participants.
