Observance of Youm-e-Istehsal – 5th August, 2026. 📌

In compliance with the directives of the Higher Education Archives & Libraries Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Govt Degree College Lund Khwar, Mardan, observed Youm-e-Istehsal on 5th August, 2026 to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.

Youm-e-Istehsal is observed across Pakistan every year on 5th August to condemn the illegal and unilateral actions of 5th August 2019, when the special status of Jammu & Kashmir was revoked. The day, serves to remind the world of the ongoing human rights violations in IIOJK and to reaffirm Pakistan’s unwavering moral, political, and diplomatic support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination in accordance with UN resolutions.

The event was attended by faculty members, students, and representatives of civil society. The participants strongly demanded the protection of fundamental human rights for the people of Kashmir and urged the international community to take notice of the ongoing inhuman activities in IIOJK.

The solidarity walk concluded with prayers for the martyrs of Kashmir and for peace and stability in the region.
