حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا۔” جب تم میں سے کوئی جوتا پہنے تو پہلے داہنے پاوٴں میں پہنے اور جب نکالنے لگے تو پہلے بائیں پاوٴں سے نکالے۔ الغرض داہنا پاوٴں جوتا پہننے میں مقدم اور نکالنے میں موخر ہے۔“(بخاری، مسلم)

حضرت مقداد بن اسود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اکرم ﷺ رات کو اصحاب رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس تشریف لاتے تو آپ ﷺ اس طرح آہستہ اور احتیاط سے سلام کرتے کہ سونے والے نہ جاگتے اور جاگنے والے سن لیتے۔“(ترمذی)
