Hazara University Mansehra Alumni Association (HUAA) sincerely thanks Wahid Foundation for generously providing scholarships for 44 BS-level students of Hazara University.

This valuable support will help deserving students continue their higher education and achieve their academic goals.

Mr. Taj Muhammad Khan, representative of the Wahid Foundation, and Dr. Sahibzada Jawad Alfaizi, President of the Hazara University Mansehra Alumni Association, along with members of the Executive Committee, held a meeting with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ikramullah Khan in his office.
During the meeting, they shared the complete process of identifying 44 deserving students from different departments of Hazara University Mansehra for the award of scholarships.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of the Wahid Foundation and expressed gratitude to Mr. Taj Muhammad Khan for his gracious support in promoting educational opportunities for deserving students.
The initiative reflects a strong commitment to transparency, merit, and the promotion of higher education.

A cheque covering scholarships for 44 students from different departments of Hazara University Mansehra was formally handed over to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ikram Ullah Khan, by Mr. Taj Muhammad Khan, representative of the Wahid Foundation, in a simple ceremony held at the Vice Chancellor’s office this morning.
The event was held in the presence of Dr. Sahibzada Jawad Alfaizi, President of Hazara University Mansehra Alumni Association, along with distinguished faculty members and members of HUAA including Dr. Muhammad Wasim, Dr. Qasim Shahzad, Dr. Zubair Alam Khan, Dr. Akhtar Nawaz Khan, Mr. Muhammad Shakeel, and Mr. Zakriya Khalid.
This initiative reflects a strong commitment towards supporting deserving students and promoting access to higher education through merit-based scholarships.

Wahid Foundation Scholarships

Compilation of results was completed following the successful conduct of tests and interviews for scholarships awarded to 44 deserving students through Wahid Foundation. The tests and interviews were conducted on 20th and 21st May 2026.

The entire process was supervised by Mr. Taj Muhammad Khan on behalf of Wahid Foundation and facilitated by the Executive Committee of the Hazara University Alumni Association, comprising Dr. Sahibzada Jawad Alfaizi, Dr. Muhammad Wasim, Dr. Qasim Shahzad, Dr. Akhtar Nawaz, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed, and Mr. Zakriya Khalid.

2nd Day of Scholarship Interviews

Today Wahid Foundation continued the test and interview process for deserving and talented students from various departments of Hazara University.
The entire process was supervised by Mr. Taj Muhammad Khan on behalf of Wahid Foundation. Representing the Hazara University Alumni Association were President Dr. Sahibzada Jawad Alfaizi, General Secretary Dr. Qasim Shahzad, Finance Secretary Dr. Akhtar Nawaz, who actively participated in the interviews and selection process.
A total of 40 scholarships will be awarded to deserving students from different departments of the university. The continuation of the interviews reflects a strong commitment to transparency, merit, and equal educational opportunities for talented youth.

Scholarships Test and Interviews

Wahid Foundation conducted tests and interviews for deserving and intelligent students from different departments of Hazara University.

The entire process was supervised by Mr. Taj Muhammad Khan on behalf of Wahid Foundation. Representing the Hazara University Alumni Association were President Dr. Sahibzada Jawad Alfaizi, General Secretary Dr. Qasim Shahzad, Finance Secretary Dr. Akhtar Nawaz, and Director IT Mr. Muhammad Shakeel, who actively participated in the interviews.

A total of 40 scholarships will be awarded to deserving students from various departments of the university. The interview process will continue for another day to ensure transparency and merit-based selection.

Silver Jubilee Planning Underway at Hazara University! 🎉

A meeting of the Silver Jubilee Committee was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Shakir Ullah. The meeting was attended by Dr. Sahibzada Jawad Alfaizi, Dr. Qasim Shahzad, Zakriya Khalid, Dr. Muhammad Waseem, Dr. Akhtar Nawaz, Shakeel Ahmed, and Liaqat Ali Rahat, while some members joined online.
Important decisions were made for the successful celebration of the Silver Jubilee of Hazara University, scheduled from 1st July 2026 to 30th June 2027.

📌 Key decisions include:
✅ Formation of various sub-committees for smooth implementation of Silver Jubilee activities.
✅ A logo design competition will be organized in collaboration with the Department of Art & Design. Dr. Sahibzada Jawad Alfaizi will serve as focal person, with Aisa Shah and Junaid Iqbal as members. The logo will be finalized by the end of May 2026.
✅ Celebration budget to be finalized in consultation with the university finance department.
✅ Consultation with the Department of Islamic Studies on celebrating the Silver Jubilee in light of Islamic teachings.
✅ Official launch of jubilation after the university convocation in July 2026.
✅ Organization of a Grand Alumni Reunion and a Grand Dinner for former Vice Chancellors, former HEC leadership, distinguished guests, and other dignitaries.
✅ University media to compile and broadcast video interviews of prominent alumni, former VCs, local and international alumni, and other stakeholders throughout the year.
✅ A comprehensive one-year plan for campus radio and TV will be developed.
✅ Every faculty and department will plan and implement monthly Silver Jubilee activities.
✅ Silver Jubilee branding, including logos, will be displayed across campus, university transport, stationery, main gates, and digital platforms.
✅ Brooches and coat pins will be designed for the celebrations.
✅ Institutional linkages will be strengthened with partner universities and organizations under existing MoUs.
✅ The university website will be updated to prominently feature the Silver Jubilee identity.
The Silver Jubilee celebrations promise to be a historic year of reflection, recognition, achievements, and renewed commitment to academic excellence.
