3. *Third War (1971)*
- Cause: Political crisis in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh)
- Outcome: Creation of *Bangladesh*, Pakistan’s defeat

4. *Kargil Conflict (1999)*
- Cause: Infiltration of Pakistani soldiers into Indian-held Kargil
- Outcome: India regained territory; diplomatic pressure on Pakistan.
