جہاں اپنوں کا ساتھ چھوٹ جاتا ہے اور انسان بیماری کی شدت میں خود کو تنہا محسوس کرنے لگتا ہے، وہاں سفید وردی میں ملبوس یہ فرشتے اپنی نیندیں قربان کر کے اور اپنی تھکن کو مسکراہٹ کے پیچھے چھپا کر انسانیت کے زخموں پر مرہم رکھتے ہیں۔ نرس صرف ایک پیشہ نہیں بلکہ ہمدردی، صبر اور بے لوث محبت کی وہ عظیم مثال ہے جو دعا اور دوا کے درمیان ایک مضبوط پل بن کر زندگی کی امید کو برقرار رکھتی ہے۔ آپ کے لمس میں شفا ہے اور آپ کے لہجے میں تسلی، انٹرنیشنل نرسز ڈے پر ان تمام مسیحاؤں کو دل کی گہرائیوں سے سلام جو ہر پل خاموشی سے زندگی بچانے کی جنگ لڑ رہے ہیں۔
