Dear Parents from Islamabad,
ICT administration will interview parents for potential candidates to adopt an unclaimed baby. If you are interested kindly come to DC Office Islamabad on 04 October at 11 am for interview. Welfare of the child will be given top most priority. Our criteria is as follow:-
1. Gender of the baby is not shared. The gender being shared on news can be fake /wrong.
2. Pictures of the baby are not shared
3. Single parent, widow etc can't adopt the baby
4. Only a couple who is issueless (who don't have children because of medical reasons) are allowed to adopt the baby. For this medical certificate and a reasonable time after marriage is required.
5. Baby once adopted is monitored by the DC office. Magistrates examine the health, fitness and psychology of the baby through experts
6. Those who want to adopt must have credibility in the society which is examined in the interview along with documents. They should also have reasonable financial status so that they can afford a good life for the baby. Couples with better financial status will have an edge over others. Character certificates, recommendation letters may please be brought on the interview dates.
7. Non Pakistanis are not eligible.
8. Priority will be given to people who have a house in Islamabad. We have never given an unclaimed baby to anyone with no house in Islamabad. Anyone may apply for unclaimed babies in their own respective districts as monitoring of the family is not possible afterwards if they are outside our jurisdiction.
9. Only married couples can apply, organizations etc cannot apply.
10. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad is not part of the committee and has no say in evaluation of the couple applying cro adoption.
