Today, Govt Girls Degree college Landikotal hosted a dignified and memorable ceremony to Honour Respected Principal of GPGC, Landikotal prof.Muhammad Saeed khan on the occasion of his retirement.
The event was attended by esteemed faculty and distinguished guests. From the warm discussion in the office to the wonderful lunch program, the day was a perfect tribute to a man who has given so much to our community.
Respected Principal was honoured with a shield and gifts as a reminder of his dedicated service to education in landikotal.
We Pray that Allah (SWT) grants prof. Muhammad Saeed khan a retirement filled with health, happiness and continued success.

Quaid-e-Azam Day Celebration at GGDC Landikotal

Quaid-e-Azam Day was celebrated on 24 december 2025,with great enthusiasm at Government Girls Degree College (GGDC) Landikotal. The students participated actively and showed keen interest in the activities arranged on this auspicious occasion.

A meaningful tableau highlighting the life, struggles, and tireless efforts of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was presented by the students. The performance beautifully reflected his visionary leadership, unwavering determination, and invaluable services for the creation of Pakistan.

In addition, a special painting competition was organized for the students of 1st Year, 2nd Year, and BS Zoology 3rd semister. The participants demonstrated remarkable creativity and artistic skills through their paintings, portraying the personality, ideals, and principles of Quaid-e-Azam.

At the end of the event, the worthy Principal highly appreciated the efforts of the students and awarded certificates to the winners. Cash prizes were also distributed among the students who secured top positions in the painting competition. The event concluded on a successful, motivating, and inspiring note.

PUBLIC AWARENESS SESSION
District Youth Affairs Jamrud organized a Public Awareness Session in GGDC Landi kotal, titled “Mobilizing Young Women & Girls to Join Justice Sector Institutions – Women Accessing & Delivering Justice in KP,” under the theme of improving gender parity and strengthening gender-responsive justice in Pakistan. The aim of the event was to raise awareness among young women and girls about their rights, encourage their active participation in justice sector institutions, and empower them to become agents of change in promoting fair and inclusive justice systems.

The distinguished speakers delivered a highly productive and informative session, motivating students through meaningful discussion and guidance. At the conclusion of the event, a shield was presented to our respected Principal, Madam Nadia Irshad, in recognition of her leadership and support. In her closing remarks, the Principal expressed sincere gratitude to the speakers and warmly appreciated the efforts of the entire event management team for the successful organization of the session.

Human Rights Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 10th December 2025, at GGDC landikotal, where students delivered powerful and inspiring speeches highlighting the importance of equality, dignity, and freedom for all. Their words reflected deep awareness and a strong commitment to creating a just society. The atmosphere was filled with hope as each speaker shared meaningful thoughts on protecting and respecting human rights.
In the end, the Principal Nadia Irshad addressed the gathering with a heartfelt and thoughtful message, appreciating the students’ efforts and reminding everyone of their responsibility to uphold these values in everyday life. The event beautifully reinforced the significance of human rights in building a peaceful and progressive community.
