We are proud to announce a historic milestone in the journey of JPAD; for the very first time, DOIs have been enabled for all research articles published through the JPAD online platform so far!

A DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is essentially a permanent digital identity for a research article, making it easier to find, access, track and cite anywhere in the world.

This achievement fulfils an important PMDC requisite and, more importantly, takes JPAD another step forward towards stronger global visibility and academic recognition. Better visibility brings more citations, stronger journal metrics and ultimately moves us closer to our bigger goal, an Impact Factor.

A truly proud moment for the entire JPAD Editorial Board, and hopefully one of many more milestones to come, Insha’Allah!

JPAD AUTHOR SUPPORT PROGRAM, PHASE II, FROM PROTOCOL TO DATA

After the successful completion of Phase I, From Idea to Protocol, JPAD now brings the second workshop of Phase II, From Protocol to Data to KEMU Lahore, following the first Phase II workshop in Karachi.
We now move from planning research to actually working with data and numbers.
The hands on session will cover:

• Systematic data collection
• Data organization & coding
• Essential biostatistics
• Selection of appropriate statistical tests
• Meaningful interpretation of results

Call for Dermoscopy Insights | JPAD

The Journal of Pakistan Association of Dermatologists (JPAD) invites dermatologists and residents to submit interesting and educational cases for the Dermoscopy Insights section.

We welcome well-documented cases that demonstrate the diagnostic value of dermoscopy in everyday dermatology practice, particularly cases involving common and rare Pakistani dermatological conditions.

Submissions should include clear clinical and dermoscopic images, appropriate patient consent, accurate dermoscopic terminology, and complete case details.

JPAD is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal indexed in international databases, including Scopus and EMBASE.
