Specializing in Discourse Studies and English for Academic Purposes, Dr. Ambreen completed her doctoral research titled “Emerging Writer Identities among Female MA TESOL Students in Pakistan.”

We proudly celebrate the successful journey of Ms. Aqsa Rana, alumna of the MS TESOL program at Lahore College for Women University.
With over 21 years of experience in teaching, training, and educational leadership, she served as a Senior ESL instructor at Laurelbank Public School and later as Principal of Laurelbank Higher Secondary School Girls Branch for almost a decade.
Today, she continues to lead the field of education as CEO & Principal of The Maps School and CEO & Patron-in-Chief of RHI Training Company, where she also provides free online ESL classes for orphans, reflecting her commitment to inclusive education and social impact.
Her journey reflects the true spirit of LCWU TESOL’s mission—empowering educators, advancing language education, and creating positive change in society.

The TESOL Department, LCWU, Pakistan proudly recognizes the inspiring journey of Hina Tariq, an accomplished alumna with MA and MS degrees in TESOL.
With over seven years of teaching experience at Crescent Model Higher Secondary School, Lahore, Hina played a vital role in strengthening students’ language proficiency and critical thinking skills.
She further enriched her professional expertise through training programs with the British Council, gaining exposure to modern pedagogical and communication methodologies.
Expanding the scope of TESOL into ESP (English for Specific Purposes), Hina transitioned into the corporate sector as a Soft Skills Trainer at Allied Consultants, a software development company.
In this role, she designs and delivers professional trainings for software engineers and technical teams, focusing on communication skills, interpersonal and intrapersonal development, workplace professionalism, and leadership readiness—demonstrating how TESOL expertise can empower professionals across industries.
Beyond corporate training, Hina actively contributes to mentoring young graduates through Empower Through Learning (ETL). Through this platform, she has conducted professional development sessions in collaboration with leading institutions such as Government College University Lahore and University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, guiding graduates to transition confidently from academic life to professional careers.
Her career stands as a powerful example of how TESOL graduates can contribute to education, corporate communication, ESP, training, and professional development, creating meaningful impact across sectors.
