Our teams just concluded their QCR Review during the Practical Auditing Course at LUMS , powered by Evolve Learning Hub !
The QCR reviews were spearheaded by Sir Mehmood Khan FCA, Manager QCR at ICAP.
With years of diverse experience under his belt, Sir Adnan guided the teams regarding the importance of QCR and the principles of oversight observed at regulating bodies.
The teams went through rigorous cross examination of their audit procedures and risk assessment, double checking the appropriate course of action for the audit assignment.

During the Practial Audit Course 101, powered by Evolve Learning Hub at LUMS - CES, our teams had their meetings with the enthusiastic and very charismatic Head of Internal Audit of Binof - Sir Arslan Anwar Khawaja, a man that requires no introduction in the ranks of Chartered Accountancy.
The teams were taught valuable insights regarding the Internal Audit function in entities, its regulatory bodies, the standards that govern the function.
The teams asked numerous on-spot questions that targeted the weak SOPs they encountered during their Audit.

Our first week wrapped up with the enthusiastic efforts of our participants in the Practical Auditing Course, powered by Evolve Learning Hub, at LUMS - CES. Our Audit Supervisors, under the supervision of the very experienced Audit Manager, Sir Dabeer Khalid, guided their assigned teams with due care and undying support. The teams were guided through the initial phases of Audit. The week closed with a reflective session with the enigmatic Sir Abdul Rauf, perfectly summing up up crux of the learning through the week.
