The Students of Department of Economics at CUI, Lahore campus, under the mentorship of Ms. Hina Amir, Assistant Professor, participated in Econothon 2026, held at the Lahore School of Economics. The competition featured eight universities: LUMS, COMSATS, Kinnaird, Punjab University (PU), FCCU, Lahore College (LC), BNU, and ITU.

It is a proud moment for our department that our students secured 2nd Position in the policy pitching competition at Econothon '26, ranking 2nd out of 20 teams from 8 top-ranked universities.
