Commander Royal Bahrain Naval Force Visits Pakistan Navy War College (PNWC)

Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force, Rear Admiral Ahmed Mohamed Ebrahim Al Bin Ali, visited PNWC, Lahore. He was received by Commandant Rear Admiral Sohail Ahmad Azmie. During the visit matters regarding enhancing military & academic engagements were discussed. Commander Royal Bahrain Naval Force toured the various facilities at PNWC including Maritime Centre of Excellence & praised the training institute as par excellence.

The Inland Study Tour (North) was conducted for the participants of the 55th Pakistan Navy Staff Course and 23rd Correspondence Staff Course, led by Commandant Pakistan Navy War College, Rear Admiral Sohail Ahmad Azmie. The tour encompassed visits to key national institutions and strategic locations in Islamabad and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), including the Services Headquarters, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Maritime Affairs, National Assembly, Senate, AJK Assembly, and the Line of Control (LoC).

During the visit, participants received comprehensive briefings on the core functions, ongoing initiatives, projects, operations, and challenges faced by each organization, followed by Q&A sessions.

The course comprised officers from the Pakistan Navy, Army, and Air Force, as well as officers from the armed forces of 12 friendly countries. The tour aimed to enhance the participants' understanding of national governance structures, inter-agency coordination, and regional security dynamics, while providing valuable exposure to Pakistan's political, diplomatic, and defense institutions.

This educational visit is a vital component of the staff course curriculum, fostering professional development, strategic awareness, and mutual understanding among national and international officers, thereby strengthening military diplomacy and cooperation.

COMMANDER CENTRAL PUNJAB CALLS ON COMMISSIONER BAHAWALPUR DIVISION (CHAIRPERSON EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE CCKP)

10 Oct 25: Pakistan Navy is in the process of taking over the management of Cadet College Khanpur (CCKP) from the Government of the Punjab for commencement of academic activities at the college. Pakistan Navy has appointed qualified Naval Officers as Principal and Adjutant while 12 supporting staff for CCKP.

For the purpose of pursuance of the case and early operationalized CCKP, Rear Admiral Sohail Ahmad Azmie, Commander Central Punjab (COMCEP), called on Commissioner Bahawalpur division who is the Chairperson Executive Committee CCKP. During the meeting, the Admiral mentioned that early commissioning and functioning of CCKP is the need of time as gigantic infrastructure constructed 5 years back shall be wasted, if not recovered/ operationalized at an early timeframe. Rear Admiral Sohail Ahmad Azmie also informed the Chairperson that CM Punjab had recently accorded approval of initial tranche of Grant in Aid amounting to Rs. 400.00 Million during his meeting with her on 26 Sep 25.

Talking about his visit to CCKP, COMCEP informed Commissioner Bahawalpur that the local community showed immense enthusiasm and gratitude towards Pakistan Navy and the Project Team for their efforts in establishing the Cadet College. He further mentioned that local reps expressed their eagerness for the college to start functioning soon, highlighting the potential it holds for providing quality education and opening new avenues for youth of the region. The chairperson promised to pursue the case with the offices of CM, Chief Secy and SED Punjab for provision funds at the earliest.

Rear Admiral Sohail Ahmed Azmie Commander Central Punjab visited Cadet college Khanpur district Rahim Yar Khan. Board members of Cadet College and dignitaries from civil society were also present at the occasion.
Commander Central Punjab emphasized on Nation Development and affording quality education to community of Khanpur, Rahim Yar Khan and adjoining areas. He directed the project team including Pakistan Navy Officers, Punjab Govt officials and civil society to put in coherent and synergetic efforts for early operationalization of Cadet College Khanpur.
All participants, particularly civil society notables enthusiastically exhibited gratitude to Pakistan Navy and project team for the efforts.
Visit ended on a note of thanks with a hope for early manifestation of Cadet College an upcoming institute for Human Resource Development and ultimately contributing to prosperous Pakistan.
