Strengthening Partnerships for Inclusive Education
The Department of Education, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Management and Technology (UMT), is pleased to announce the MOU Signing Ceremony between the Department of Education, UMT, and Love and Care Autism Center, held on September 23, 2026.
This collaboration marks an important step toward fostering inclusive education, professional development, research, training, and meaningful support for individuals with autism and their families.
Through this partnership, the Department of Education aims to strengthen collaboration with Love and Care Autism Center in advancing inclusive practices, knowledge sharing, capacity building, and greater opportunities for the community.

Faculty Secondment Program (FSP) 2026
The Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements (OCLP), UMT initiated the Faculty Secondment Program (FSP) 2026 to strengthen academia–industry linkages through professional exposure, knowledge exchange, and collaboration with the corporate sector.
Dr. Afshan Naseem, Department of Education, School of Social Sciences & Humanities, UMT, successfully completed the Faculty Secondment Program during August 2026. The secondment offered valuable opportunities for professional learning, practical exposure, and engagement with the professional sector, contributing to continued academic and professional development.

Keynote Session on Research Integrity

Dr. Amna Yousaf from the Department of Education, School of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSSH), UMT, delivered a keynote address on “Research Integrity Matters: Shaping Responsible Research Practices” on September 9, 2026.

The thought-provoking session highlighted the importance of ethical, transparent, and responsible research practices and encouraged meaningful reflection on fostering a culture of integrity in academia.

The session was organised by KRSS and CTL, UMT.

MOU Signing Ceremony
The Department of Education, School of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSSH), University of Management and Technology (UMT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Rotary Club on September 4, 2026, to strengthen collaboration and create meaningful opportunities for students.
The MOU focuses on collaboration in the following areas:
✅ Internship and placement opportunities for students
✅ UMT Cooperative Education Program (COOP)
✅ Students’ industrial visits
✅ Awareness sessions
✅ Mentoring sessions and research promotion
Dr. Amna Arif, CoD, and faculty members from the Department of Education attended the ceremony.
