Ali Pasha Mosque in Macedonia is as fascinating and stunning an attraction as you could ask for. Built by Suleymaan Pasha in 1573, it stands tall along the Old Bazar in Ohrid. The long-standing building hosts a rich history, having been restored and made changes to throughout its lifetime. Despite this, it still holds a charming beauty and good mixed Balkan and modern architectural style, demonstrating the time when the mighty Ottoman Empire laid claim to Macedonia.

What comes to your mind when you hear the word Stockholm? Some say the Islands and Archipelago. Some say the Swedish Parliament. Some say the Old Town, Gamla Stan. For me, it is Nobel Prize.
Today, I visited the Nobel Prize Museum and saw many items that were in Nobel Laureates' scientific or personal use. For example a Wooden Tube Rack used by Emmanuelle Charpentier during her PhD and Postdoc, a Silk Dress made by Jennifer Daudna when she was 16 for her high school prom, a Pipette always used by Katalin Kariko in her lab, a pair of Shoes (کھسہ) gifted by Abdus Salam to Sheldon Glashow, a Bracelet of Kofi Annan that he used to wear, a Pen and a pair of Eye Glasses of Dalai Lama that were in his use, a Mug that Richard Thaler used in his famous experiments to study economics and value of things, original electrophoresis results by Frederick Sanger that paved the way for DNA sequencing, the very famous Photo51 by Rosalind Franklin that made the basis of understanding the DNA structure and its replication, and many more. Original Nobel Medals and Certificates awarded to various Laureates were also on display at the museum.

Defying the elements for a breathtaking view. The non-stop rain and 50km/h wind might be whipping around, but nothing can beat the panoramic view of Vienna from the 60th floor of the DC Tower. Worth every gust.

A moment of reflection at the Maria Theresa Memorial in Vienna, Austria, with the stunning Art History Museum as a backdrop. The grandeur of these structures is a testament to the city's rich heritage.
