Good Afternoon Everyone
Dear Parents,
We are writing to you today to highlight a concern coming from one of our venues in Lahore; Garrison Golf and Country Club. We have seen that after the time of entry in the morning (0800 - 0900 HRS) and afternoon (1300 - 1400 HRS), the cars coming to drop candidates at the venue remain parked in clearly marked NO PARKING zones on the main road leading up to the venue.
We would like you to inform candidates through a clear message that parking on the main road in Lahore Cantt. is NOT ALLOWED.
British Council have been informed by Cantt. authorities that moving forward any cars found parked on main roads around Garrison Golf and Country club will be given tickets and lifted to the nearest police station.
In order to avoid any inconvenience, we strongly recommend that candidates do the following:
• Be on time. Reporting time at the venue is 0800 HRS and 1300 HRS, morning and afternoon respectively. Candidates should try their best to be early.
• We strongly advise that candidates arrange pick/drops to/from the venue as parking is not available.
• Where available park cars in designated parking areas
• Comply with traffic rules and cooperate with traffic wardens
We hope that by making sure candidates follow the general advisory above there will not be any surprises at the venue for them and they will be able to solely concentrate on their exam.
